Central TransportReviews of centraltransport.com

Horrible service. Picked up a load from NJ on 07/22/21 to deliver to OR, as of today 8/25/21 has not been delivered . They asked for a "will call" because don't have driver, now they don't even answer when we can pick up from terminal. Loosing customers from their poor service and communication.

I would like to give them negative review if I could. They are thieves they will keep your package as hostage and ask more money for it. They can come up with any excuse holtod your package and demand more money, they are never on time worst transport company RUN FROM THEM.

Do not use this company!!! They simply have no desire to deliver freight on any timeline. Our shipment has sat 20 minutes from us for 9 days now with no delivery scheduled. We asked if we could pickup the shipment ourselves and were told there are trucks ahead of us to be unloaded. Absolutely unacceptable!!! I recommend finding a shipping company that actually cares about their customers. Clearly, this company does not value retention of customers.

Worse shipping co I have ever dealt with. Item was shipped from Wi on 7/26. Sat at their freight terminal in Ill for 6 days before they even began to ship it. Finally got to their terminal in Benton CIty which is less that 60 miles away on 8/6 and has been sitting there ever since. It's now 8/10. They will NOT answer their phone nor will they respond by e-mail with a delivery date. They also refuse to let me come to the freight terminal to pick it up. They have cost me $1000s of dollars in lost revenue with all of this. Even if it cost a couple of $$ more go to someone who will at least answer the phone.

Might be the worst company ever. No guaranteed pickup dates, called the rep, he said they can't guarantee anything, not monday, tuesday, wednesday, who knows if they'll pick up if ever. I scheduled it and they haven't come 3 days in a row. If they don't come tomorrow i'll never hire this POS company again

If I could leave a -5 star rating I would. I'm past being angry but feel like I should warn others that this company is beyond horrible. They are especially bad at the Portland Oregon terminal where a trailer with our time sensitive freight sat for 10 days prior to being unloaded. As a former forklift operator I could easily unload 12 trailers in half a day by myself. The excuse they gave me was that there were 12 to be unloaded prior to ours being unloaded. It cost us an extra thousand dollars to have Freight Pros expedite the shipment to Seattle where it was barged to Nome Alaska. If you care about your freight being on time and expect promises made to be promises kept then you need a different shipping company.

The absolute worst freight company I have ever dealt with. We scheduled a shipment for pickup today yesterday over 30 hours ago. They told us it would be picked up today. I called 4X today and they told me it would be picked up, picked up between 1-3, picked up between 3-5, 2 stops away and then finally at 5pm that they were not going to be able to pick up the shipment today. What an absolute waste of customers time! Why can the customer not contact the dispatch terminals like every other freight company? Look at how beneficial this was to have your customer service ppl lie to the customer about false information. Rachel, Haley, Stacy. Come on.... Do Better!

We ordered a snow blower from Home Depot, this is our first time buying a large item from HD. Had I known anything about this company before hand I would have never purchased from HD. It was a nightmare from the start. I was marked as delivered 7 days ago, which it wasnt. Contacted Central Transport EVERY day asking where it was. Was told so many different stories, it is in Ohio, It is in Ny, It is in PA, it will be loaded today, it wasnt loaded today, it will be here this day etc etc. The made up excuses went on and on. Well today I just happen to be home having work done on my house &my maintenance man said did you order something big, they were here to deliver it, no phone call, no text just showed up. Here is the best part the driver of the semi also unloads the truck had to have my maintenance man get in the back of the truck and help him unload it. If he wasnt here I wouldnt have got my delivery because my husband is at work. What a joke of a company and I will never order from Home Depot gain
