I paid a deposit for their gas services in which I ended up not needing and they have refuses to refund my deposit. I called and spoke to their customer service and they claim it takes 30 business days to refund a deposit. This company should be banned from operating in the Houston area. By far the worst customer service, the worst ai phone assistance, and the worst business practices.

Our service plus plan is poor. When our washing machine gear broke, it took over a month for the service man to fix it. Now our air conditioner is not blowing cold air I sent an online service request Thursday and the soonest they can come is Monday. This timeline might be okay in most cases but our house is in the 80s and we are elderly. I will look into other service plans outside of our current plan.

I had an extremely unprofessional experience with CenterPoint Energy that needs immediate attention from leadership. I called simply to confirm my final bill and ensure my account was settled, yet the agent (Ashley) never even asked my reason for calling. Instead, she made an incorrect assumption about me starting new service, then responded with attitude when I questioned it. Before addressing my concern or even attempting to correct the situation she hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. Being dismissed and disconnected like that is completely unacceptable. It reflects a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer respect. If this is the level of service CenterPoint Energy allows, then customers deserve to know. This needs to reach executive leadership and be addressed immediately

I am a customer of Centrepoint. Order number: 9326042468704 Unfortunately, I have had a very poor experience. The order was confirmed on April 25, and until now it has not been delivered, with an unjustified delay. Despite submitting multiple complaints to customer service, the response has always been delays and shifting responsibility to the shipping company without any real solution. I am requesting an immediate resolution: * Either provide a clear and immediate delivery date * Or issue a full refund without any delay If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate the matter formally with the relevant authorities and share my experience on a wider scale. I hope Centrepoint management will handle this matter seriously and promptly.

I am angry that I have to give a star to leave a review because if I did not have to, this would be a zero star review. Centerpoint energy is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with in my life and I’ve been around for a couple of decades. They offer zero customer support zero information and they have the worst AI gatekeepers I have ever dealt with, literally these AI gatekeepers could train people on how to have a bad attitude.. Centerpoint hear me when I say this if somebody is calling you they’re either signing up for your service which is forced according to demographics or something has gone wrong and they need your help…in my case…My power is gone out for about the 10th time in 12 months or put it this way every time we have a rain storm. . I live in an apartment complex where centerpoint and the apartments like to throw the blame back-and-forth for a couple days and then fix the problem so I’m trying to stay proactive and call you right away so that you can get on this problem, but instead, I get your AI gatekeeper that seems to purposely try to aggravate the situation and I know that sounds ridiculous but try standing in my shoes… now please I am begging you as a customer that has been forced to use you for 10 years and has gone as long as nine days without power I am begging you to please change your protocols and change your customer support. You wanna hire me I’ll come in and show you a system that works. I’ve been in that business for years. In the meantime please do not rely on AI gatekeepers to help your customers with their very real human problems one of the main reasons I want to move is I want to get out of your demographic to have to use you just based on what I just said and this review is not, I need your reaction. It has been long coming. I’ve been meaning to leave this review for the last couple of years. I hope you figure something out soon. Sign me very disenchanted customer.

I paid my bill, after they transferred me back from Bill Matrix Corp., they said I didn't pay, my bank account says otherwise. The office is closed until Monday @ 7 am, worst company I've ever dealt with.

...Overcharging .....scamming customers.....the usual organized crime utility companies do to customers with the help of the criminal Indiana state employees and public officials, not to mention the nefarious Indiana utility regulatory commision, who enjoys the millions of dollars of bribe money they receive every year!

CenterPoint needs to get their house in order. They hire garbage technicians with little to know knowledge or tact to deal with people. I had a solar plan submitted and DER Permits accepted, all work done by Sunrun to the letter. A CenterPoint tech came to my house while I was out, threatening to shutoff power, saying it was illegal (is everyone a lawyers?), and yelling at her. Very unprofessional, borderline abusive, illegal activity (making claims they CAN NOT enforce), fraudulent and deceptive practice in how they deal with things all because they can't keep their own documents in order. I will be following up, submitting a formal complaint and be pressing charges if possible. This is unacceptable and unprofessional bullying practices by CenterPoint, and they were 100% in the wrong here. Will me and my wife get even an apology, doubtful? Screw you CenterPoint!
