i have never had a problem. i get what i order on a timely manner. how ever when i browse through the music . i no longer get a sample of what i'm buying. i buy music from original artist so i want to listen for that reason. what happened ?

I was a customer of CD Universe years ago. I first purchased from them in 2013, I believe, and my purchases were physical copies of video games. I had no issues, or complaints regarding those purchases. They came in new condition, nothing was missing, everything installed perfectly and I'm still playing them to this day. I haven't ordered from them since 2015 or 2016 because their prices have gotten a little steep, not only that but most of the time when I'd search for a video game I wanted on their website, it was never in stock. It was always, "Find it on Amazon" or "Find it on Ebay" links regarding the ones I wanted, so I just decided to make an Amazon account and buy my video games from there. Earlier this year I started receiving emails from a company called, Lush Meds, which advertised everything from supplements to medicine for pets. I was more focused on my health, and surgery, that I never bothered to actually open the emails and deleted them instead. Today I received an email from Lush Meds, about pet medication again, so I decided to open it. Upon clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link, I was taken to a website that I had NEVER visited before, that I apparently had an account on. Again, I've never been to this site, never bought supplements or anything of the like online. While I was clicking through the account page, I looked at "Previous Orders" only to see all the previous purchases I had made on CDUniverse. NO purchases made through Lush Meds and no "delete account" or "remove account" in the account page. Which, there should be. You shouldn't have to email customer service just to delete an account, but that's what I had to do. I contacted Lush Meds customer service, asking them to remove the account under my name that I NEVER made, and I also emailed CDUniverse and asked to have my CDUniverse account deleted. I received the same worded email from a CDUniverse employee apologizing for the inconvenience and stating that my account was removed upon my request. I would have kept my CDUniverse account if it wasn't for the fact they opened a whole account in MY name, under an affiliate website of theirs WITHOUT my permission. I wasn't asked if I wanted to join Lush Meds, I wasn't told Lush Meds is an affiliate and I wouldn't have known about this account on Lush Meds if it wasn't for the email preferences on the website being set up to send ALL emails to my Gmail account. If you have an account with CDUniverse, make sure you aren't signed up for Lush Meds without your knowledge. That's not okay.
