Very disappointing experience with both the product quality and the warranty process. I purchased this toilet less than a year ago and have already experienced multiple issues. This is their CD-U010Max model. The first issue was with the remote, which the company replaced. Shortly afterward, the toilet seat became noticeably discolored despite being less than a year old, which raises serious concerns for me about the quality and durability of the materials used. Now, the toilet has developed a leak. I had to hire a plumber at my own expense to determine where the leak was coming from. The original installation of this toilet was already complex and required significant work from my contractor. Customer service is now asking me to remove parts of the toilet myself and provide a detailed video for further analysis. I am not a plumber and do not feel comfortable disassembling the toilet myself, especially when there is an active leak. Every additional contractor or plumber visit costs me more money out of pocket. Despite all of these issues occurring within the first year and while the toilet is still under warranty, one of the solutions offered was a $50 coupon. A $50 coupon does not resolve a defective toilet with multiple problems, nor should I have to purchase another toilet because a product that is still under warranty has failed. At this point, after the remote issue, discoloration of the toilet seat, and now a leak involving the water pump/ceramic base, I believe the appropriate resolution is replacement of the entire toilet under warranty. My biggest concern is that continuing to use a toilet with a known leak could potentially cause water damage to my home. For a product that is less than a year old, I should not have to continue paying plumbers and contractors to troubleshoot one problem after another. I expected the warranty to protect customers when a product develops defects within the warranty period, not a $50 coupon toward buying another one.

Wayfair plumbing This toilet has a total different internal design that require a contractor to open the flooring and pipes The connection to the floor is designed in a way that it must have changing the whole set of pipes and the floor to connect it properly. Even a special wax ring to prevent any leak just doesn’t work for this toilet. In a regular floor it keeps moving and leaking gases from the sewer. I had it installed with the first plumber and after it been installed following the manual instructions this toilet moves and leaks gases no matter how good it has been installed. Second and third opinion just made me to understand it is a waist of money. Wayfair should make it clear in specifications that this toilet requires construction changes in a regular floor. It isn’t a regular installation. Another aggravation is if we buy this toilet we have only 30 days to return if it has not been installed. They don’t tell us that in advance anywhere in any website.
