Great Customer Service and Prompt Payment

Shipped product as instructed - package was lost by USPS and "CashForUsedLaptop.com" stopped responding to inquiries, not claim, no compensation - just lost a laptop.

Sometimes things are exactly what they seem! We were offloading some legacy laptops, and got a fair price for some older Acers. The process was simple. They gave a quote up front for each based on the info i provided, then they provided a shipping label. I boxed it and mailed them, and then they called a few days later to discuss the sale for a few minutes. I misidentified a laptop (because I'm not the most tech savvy) , and had pictures on my phone to look back at. They updated to model laptop accurately and then informed me of the updated offer price. Then I received payment over Venmo a few minutes later. Glad to see gig solutions actually working, and i was really happy to know my equipment was being upcycled in some way. Overall, a solid experience. One note - the battery on one laptop was run down. They sent pictures of the measurement process they performed, informing me that the laptop could not be reused. So payment was revoked on one item. It was a bummer, but they communicated clearly and with measurable proof, and that really made a difference - especially considering the laptops were over 6 years old. Transparency earns a 5star review, even if I lost out a bit.

Cash For Used Laptop Order: 18984 The service is generally okay, and the whole process "looks" transparent. However, the after-service is not that great. The end price is lower than I expected. Here are the factors I felt it was unfair. 1. Bad After-Service: The customer specialist was very active before I shipped my laptop. He really wanted to make sure when my laptop would be shipped. His answer was very quick and kind. After I shipped it, he said "Our team is currently unavailable", and he was gone. :/ I believe it was not his fault, but the company's process problem. 2. False Ad: The website says "Get Paid Fast, Within 4 hours of receiving your laptop", but it actually took 4 days. 3. Lower End-Price: They decreased the estimated price, mentioning the defective battery health. It's fair, but I'm pretty sure every old laptop has the same problem. Why don't they point out this fact before a customer decides to ship it? Also, they mentioned debris on the keyboard... I really don't understand why there is debris because I carefully cleaned it with electronic wipes. They have a picture of it as a proof, but I don't have any. So, I just accepted the issue they found. I should have taken a picture of the laptop. If they tell a customer to take a picture before shipping it, it will be much better for each other. It's an okay service, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who felt like it was a bit of a scam.

Would definitely recommend selling your used laptop to them. Fast response and easy process. I couldn’t of had a better experience.

It took way longer than expected, the original offer decreased twice due to minor scratches and a used battery, upon convincing them to increase the price as my laptop was spec'd above the base model that was originally quoted, the amount received was still lower than the second agreed upon offer. Granted, this is likely due to tax or PayPal fees. Overall, I would really only recommend the service if you've got an extremely old laptop or a non-functioning one and can't find a buyer because the laptop I had was worth a lot more. If I had taken the time to find a buyer myself, I'd would have been better off.

My overall experience was great they provide a free shipping label, they were kind and professional I received my payment within a week!
