I honestly felt like this was a game
I honestly felt like this was a game. I knew going into this how much my items weighed and approximately what the scrap value of the items were. I felt very lowballed by the first offer. I understand that you are a business and want to make as much money as possible. But after declining the first offer, to increase your offer by 33%, makes me feel bad for the poor souls who blindly trusted and took your first offer. It felt like a game. Not an honest value.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We understand why seeing the offer change after a conversation could feel frustrating or confusing. The reason the offer increased was not because the original appraisal was meant to be misleading, but because we were willing to revisit the transaction after hearing your concerns and make an adjustment to reach an agreement. In some cases, we choose to reduce our margin, or even take a loss on a transaction, when we believe it is the right thing to do for a customer. We appreciate you sharing your feedback, and we’ll continue working to make the process feel as clear and straightforward as possible.
