I rented a car for 8 days with easyjet cars. The rental car company refused to rent me the car as my first name on my credit card is abbreviated. These would be the terms and conditions of easy jet. However I have travelled and made bookings with this card for last 15 years and never had a problem (the provider is a Swiss bank). I contacted the telephone customer service 3 times but they didn't accept my complaint. According to my card provider the card is absolutely fine and can be used for bookings and security deposits. I stayed without a car in the middle of the night in a foreign country unable to continue my travel. I lost my money I paid for 8 days rental incl insurance. Never again easy jet.

Had booked a flight to Maderia and rented a car from Europcar via Easyjet: Worst experience ever. In the reminder email there was no mention of the credit card's expiry date, but when I got there they said the remaining term of my credit card was too short and therefore they couldn't accept it. As a result, no deposit could be debited and I was left without a car. Of course, I had paid the amount for the car in advance, so only the deposit was still outstanding. No refunds or other options. A very bad start to a vacation. I will never book with Easyjet again and will strongly advise against it among my circle of friends. I feel badly advised and not valued as a customer.

AWFUL. We rented a car through easyJet, we come from the Netherlands and we rented a car in Italy. In the email it said we had to bring a driver's license, passport and a physical credit card in the name of the driver. This was all the case, but unfortunately, even though I had a physical credit card, the car rental company would not accept my card because it wasn't from a physical bank. Of course the lady at the desk couldn't help us because it was their policy and we should just get our money back from easyJet. We called several times and every single time the person on the phone told us they couldn't refund our money because we weren't on time with picking up the car. Our flight was delayed so yeah we couldn't pick up the car, and also they wouldn't accept my credit card. We couldn't have known this in advance because easyJet never informed us only credit cards from physical banks would be accepted, the only requirement was de physical credit card. They misinformed us and costumer service was of no help every time.

The worst avoid with any cost they stole my money nothing, left me in the venice airport without car, all night no transportation,

The car wasn't ready at the time we requested as it had to go off and be cleaned, overall our wait was nearly an hour. Longer than our flight from Bristol to Newcastle. On top of that even though we brought the credit card used for the booking we had to add my wife as a named driver as it was in her name costing an extra £44. Total rip off.

La location via Goldcar c'est bien passée... Par contre personne ne peut émettre de facture avec les assurances prises sur easyjet Car rental... Ni Goldcar, ni easy jet ! Nul !

I have repeatedly tried to contact Easyjet/Cartrawler regarding progress on my claim dating back to July for car that wasn't been supplied. Despite a great PR response on a previous review on this site and a subsequent woeful offer some £350 less than my claim, I have been unable to get a progress update from them for two months with exception of an unhelpful and non conclusive chat exchange. No one has the courtesy to reply to any correspondence requesting an update. Avoid at all costs

This is the worst company that I have ever seen, bloody thiefs.
