Bref arnaque ++

Rented a car via EasyJet. When we arrived with an hour and an half delay (with EasyJet), we found out that the desk had closed (after spending 30 minutes trying to locate it). Reimbursement claim is apparently taking nearly a month. Total scam.

Booked a car using EasyJet and booked Wheego. Total scam, they pressure you to buy extra insurance, I said I don’t need it. Their document showing previous damage was incorrect and I took my own pictures, now they find a mark on the bumper and charge me 900 euros, quoting my photos as proof it wasn’t there previously. Now I find plenty of similar complaints on line of the same scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Thieves liars and they know what they are doing.

When anything goes wrong, terrible customer service and almost impossible to contact via website. App booked my car for an extra week and I was unable to correct it. Support, complaints for hours and hours with terrible service.

I am writing this complaint after I have found out about a company which advertises car rentals on Easyjet website. I arrived 30mins late to pick up a hire car scheduled from the 25th of September to 2nd of October 2024 at Birmingham International Airport. The desk to the Rental company (EuRopcar) was shut as I had been delayed on the tarmac upon arrival. We had to be carted with a bus to the terminal building. Upon calling customer service, I was met with several apologies and unfortunately you have been marked as a “No show” so the vehicle you were meant to keep for 7days will not be available to you even in the morning after being left stranded at the airport until day break. There is not going to be any refund issued as a "voucher which is issued only after payment to the company (Cartrawler) has a T&C stating late arrivals may incur extra charges or outright refusal of the service purchased without refund. I believe this company is running a scam and frustrating customers. I have found further situations online about incorrect types of vehicles offered to customers with no help at all from the super unhelpful customer service enter based in Egypt. Very Poor no Service delivered

Advertising Easyjet Car Hire whilst booking the flight is very misleading. Easyjet does not have a Hire Car side of the business, they farm the business out to a 3rd party so when things go wrong Easyjet step back and looks the other way. And blame the third party after Easyjet takes your booking and money. You would have thought that your flight and hire car booked at the same time with the same company would be tied together. However, when the Easy Jet flight was delayed the Hire car office closed and would not stay open to wait for the flight to arrive. And then we were told because we had failed to collect the hire car (due to the late arrival of the flight, beyond our control) we would be charged an extra fee to collect the car the following morning or cancel and make a new booking. Also, we had to find accommodation at our own extra expense whilst we waited for the hire car company to open the next day. Be wise, Rent your own hire car in future and ensure your flight is booked allowing for a delay so you arrive by 11 pm.

Personne n’a jamais répondu !!!

Fraudulent thieves. Avoid at all costs. First time we've booked through the airline thinking it would be a benefit. 100% isn't. Our flight was delayed 1.5hours and so "car trawler" or "U-save" gave our car away. It's ridiculous, had to go to a different company and pay 3 times as much. Easy jet stating we were a no show, cancellation and not their responsibility to update the car company. Absolute joke avoid them at all cost. They know exactly what they are doing and I'm sure the car hires are aware. easyJet customer service
