You book your car hire and your flight with EasyJet and then EasyJet delay your flight. Despite this being first thing in the morning they then send you a text to log your new time. Not to help you but to charge you an additional £164! Above the £64 we had paid. Day light robbery 78% increase! Never, never again. I’m writing this review to warn others not to fall into this trap. Dreadful EasyJet do not book with them, so wish I checked Trustpilot first, truly did not believe anyone could go this far.

I booked a car through EasyJet Car Hire (Abbay Car in Crete). The system set the pick-up time incorrectly, even though my flight details were provided. When I arrived at midnight, the desk was closed and no one answered the phone. No car was supplied, and I had to pay for alternative transport. EasyJet Car Hire then refused to refund me, which was very disappointing.

Not onsite at the airport, 10 minute shuttle bus at 30 minute intervals from airport. Had to leave my wife and 2 young children at the airport while I went to collect the car on my own. When I arrived, was pressured into a €190 'damage waiver', which was more than the hire charge of the car for the week. They wouldn't accept my credit card because it didn't have my initials on it, only my surname. I had to use my debit card which I wasn't happy about. The other option would have been a €1700 charge to my card, and any 3cm scratch to the car charged at €360, per scratch. Staff extremely rude and unforgiving about the fact my wife and kids were stranded at the airport. I will never book car hire through easyjet ever again!

If I could score minus 5, I would. Whatever you do, avoid Easyjet car hire at all costs. Absolute shower of twits, who have zero customer care. I hired a car in May this year, whilst I had it I had a slight accident where an ambulance hit me whilst I was parked. I have tried to sort this through Easyjet, but they kept pushing me to go to the actual hire company which was Goldcar. When I contacted Goldcar they say my contract is with Easyjet and then Easyjet don't want to know................. just don't bother, book elsewhere.

Über EasyJet-CarRental Kfz gebucht bei EuropCar und im Voraus bezahlt. Kurz vor dem Urlaub informiert mich EasyJet zwar davon, dass EasyJet die Buchungsreferenznummer (einfach mal so) geändert hat, aber nicht den Autoanbieter, obwohl ich eben über das Portal von EasyJet-CarRental gebucht habe. Der/die Mitbareiter(in) der Autovermietung Europcar begrüßt mich am ersten Tag meines Urlaubs mit den Worten: "Die Bestellung wurde storniert. Wir machen einen neuen Vertrag für Sie". Der natürlich doppelt so teuer sein sollte. Also hat EasyJet den Autovermieter, den ich über das Portal von EasyJet von EasyJet empfohlen bekommen habe, NICHT von der neuen Buchungsreferenznummer informiert, sondern nur von der "Stornierung"?!? Wer es glaubt ... Ich habe dann - neu - verhandeln müssen und ausdrücklich kein update (wozu auch ? - ich hatte einen Vertrag mit dem ich zufrieden war) bestellt. Die Dame von EuropCar hält mir dennoch einen Vertrag mit Update hin, lügt mir ins Gesicht wenn ich frage, ob es der Preis ist, den ich ursprünglich gebucht habe. Porto / Portugal - EuropCar - auf gar keinen Fall !! Es fing übrigens schon mit einer Lüge an ihrem Schalter an. Sie sagte mir, dass ich im System von EuropCar noch nicht erfasst sei. Völliger Unsinn. Habe schon mehrfach in der VERGANGENHEIT über diesen Laden ein Auto gebucht. Jetzt allerdings kann mich das System von EuropCar wirklich mal (vergessen). Denn dort werde ich keinen Wgen mehr buchen und bei EasyJet auch nicht.

Terrible experience. Avoie the easyjet car rental at all costs. They dont work with the flight service except to con customers into deals. When a flight is late, which is very often with easyjet, it's entirely the customer's problem and neither companies will help.

We booked Easyjet car rental thinking it would be easy but EasyJet moved our flight to an earlier slot on our return journey. They use a dodgy car hire company called Green Motion which is not even onsite at the airport and does not open until 7am so returning the car would have meant we missed our return flight. We did not know this until we went to collect our car so we could not continue and were stranded at the airport and had to pay again for a hire car from a reputable company at the airport who have 24/7 drop off. When we contacted EasyJet they said we should have cancelled and they suggested we take it up with our insurance company! It’s a scam, do not use EasyJet car rental.

I recently had a trip to Malaga, which I do frequently to visit family, always picking up a car rental at the airport due to their remote location. This time my flight landed at 12.30am, so naturally I gave myself a 30min window to get down to the car rental part in the airport. I requested a car at 1am which easyjet agreed to and took my money, which means they entered a contract to fulfill its promise of supplying a car. They obviously didn't ever end up fulfilling their promise however as the car hire desk is shut at 1am. They also told me the car hire company was Dollar. Which does not have a car hire desk in the airport. Perhaps Dollar car rental exists under another company name? But they obviously didnt think this information was required. Easyjet car hire stranded me at the airport at 1am with no way to get to my destination after I relied on them to supply a car. So tell me EASYJET where is Dollar car hire? what are you going to do about the fact that I had to spend the night at the airport until 7am where I then rebooted another car NOT THROUGH EASYJET, with a car rental company which is at the airport. I have requested a refund, and will complain about your contracted duties to fullfill a carhire promise when I can find where on all your bullshit I complain too.
