I was looking at ski in ski out places to stay and Condo at Pinnacle Inn came up ! It’s definitely not that , it’s across the main road you would have to walk a quarter mile cross a main road and walk behind peoples houses to get to the slopes . There is some kind a of white stains on coach , red stains on the pillow in the bedroom, mold in the bathroom !! Definitely would not recommend!! I have pictures but not sure how to post them .

Terrible communication!!!! Our cabin stay was during the week, last week, and I am STILL waiting to hear back from management!! The house we paid for relied completely on propane and when we checked into the cabin the propane tank was completely empty!! We had no heat and no hot water!! It was more than 24 hours when we were sent 3 space heaters, one of which stopped working after 2 minutes of use! We did not have BASIC amenities until 22 hours prior to our checkout!! All I have received is a handful of apologies from remote reservation staff!! I have sent numerous emails and made multiple phone calls about speaking to management and I have yet to hear back from anyone about any kind of refund! The cabin I paid for was not the cabin my family received!!

Absolutely DEPLORABLE conditions of this rental. For the STEEP price we were charged It is HORRIBLE value you actually get. The windows were broken and the door was broken and the dishwasher was broken. There was mold in the bathroom there was mold in the hot tub. One of the bedroom lights wouldn’t even turn on so we couldn’t use the bedroom and we couldn’t use the bathroom. The heat was not turned on when we got there and barely worked during our stay. It was absolutely freezing. The one door barely closed and the lock was broken. UNSAFE. We weren’t given an entry code until AFTER our arrival. We weren’t given the Wi-Fi. There was no Wi-Fi to be found in the rental, which caused a very dangerous situation, considering we had no service. The floor of the living room was dirty when we got there. It absolutely was NOT CLEAN for Covid, so they put our health in direct risk of exposure. Worst rental ever. Dirty unsafe and stealing money. I have pictures and videos to prove everything! Absolutely disappointed in the condition of the rental and the lack of communication from the company. I feel my money was stolen from me.

$400 refund for a cabin we paid over $4500 for 4 nights. That’s what was offered when we walked in to find the cabin INFESTED with flies. All we asked was to fix the the issue by transferring us to a new cabin or a refund for 2 nights since we no longer wanted to stay there. I have never stayed in a place so disgusting. DEAD flies in every corner and at least 10 in each room buzzing around while we’re sleeping. Won’t book here in the future, I’ll try a different, cleaner company to rent from. USE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

As others mentioned, it is difficult to communicate with the office due to so many diff staff you may get. Some are very rude & condescending. The cabin furnishings & design are top notch but you need to know that the shower pressure & hot water volume is poor; drinking water from tap is terrible; strong smell of gas each morning after we cooked breakfast & showered. So much so that we became nauseous. We have stayed at other cabin & vacation home agencies before and we won't be returning to this one.

Me and my wife live in Florida and hurricane Ian Sept 29, 2022 came directly through our home town the same day we were supposed to leave and go to Boone, NC. I called North Carolina Cabin rentals a week ahead of our departure knowing that the hurricane would hit us. After I called several times to multiple employees and managers, they told me there is nothing they can do for me. No refund, no rescheduling, no promotion for next time or trip, and they were not kind to me on the phone either. People in Florida lost everything they have because of how serious this storm was and North Carolina cabin rentals showed no class, or compassion. Me and my wife are emergency registered nurses and had to work at our local hospital to support and be there for our local community during this storm. We will not be using this company again. Very disappointed.

Carolina Cabin trash!!!! These folks straight up robbed us. We booked a weekend and had to cancel, well in advance mind you. They refused to refund us 900$. Come to find out they get you in the "con" of their policy. Do yourself a favor people. Go to a hotel.

Absolutely horrible stay at Almost Heaven and awful management company. Beware. We arrived late Thursday evening with our two infants and toddler and found the driveway was a sheet of ice and has not been plowed in weeks even though our agreement stated they would send their crew when snow accumulated to 3 inches. Ended up getting 2 vehicles stuck (we have 4 wheel drive). Had to pay a company to come help us and 4 men including 2 from Our own party had to shovel the driveway for 3 hours to move the cars. The tow truck company said chains would have done nothing in this situation even though Carolina Cabin Rentals argued with me and said we should have brought chains. The rest of The time we stayed at the house we had to park 300 ft away and carry our infants down an icy hill to get to the house. I’m addition to the unsafe not family friendly condition of the driveway the home itself was disgusting. Blood stains on the comforter, trash under the sofas, food left in the fridge, dirty towels, the list goes on. We cut our stay short because of the filth and dangers and I’ve called the company multiple times and they have done nothing. Stay far away from Almost Heaven and Carolina Cabin Rentals.
