I went on my first cruise last year with Carnival Pride and had to leave my room because something busted in the walls and they had to go in with suits on to clean my room down with bleach and I wasn’t able to get back in my room until after 3:00 am with a two year old and the elevators got breaking down and people would get stuck on them. And when i was finally able to reach someone they told me that if i booked with Carnival again and give them the chance that they would make it right by upgrading my room and after booking another Cruise and reaching back out to them they said they couldn’t help me. And when I tried to cancel they told me I would lose my deposit because it’s been over a week since I booked it so I would advise you to book with anyone other than carnival because they could care less what type of experience you have as long as they get there money.

Gave my wife wrong food plate. She has a shellfish allergy & they were meant to prepare her meals seperately. A waiter from a diferent team handed out the plates to help speed things up resulting in my wife getting the wrong meal. She became very ill & anaphylactic, requiring an adrenalin injection. Carnival somehow lost their video evidence & took no responsibility. We stopped using the restaurant & lived off pizza for over half the cruise.

We just returned from our trip july 14. Carnival radiance room number 1260. Our room was infested with cockroaches and we received bites. Also found men's used dirty underwear and a cuum rag under the mattress Contacted guest services they were extremely rude and confrontational even though I took them proof as I killed some cockroaches and pictures. All I requested was to be moved out of the room. I have mobility issues as when I booked my room I made sure it was right next to the elevators. They only offered me a room that was very far away from the elevators, and that was under the kitchen galley that they said they had noise issues and it would keep me awake all night. That was not an reasonable or acceptable option. I spent two whole days getting the run around going back and forth to quest services only for staff to keep lying to us. They refused to help with the situation and told us we had to stay in the cockroach room. Completely discussing and unsanitary conditions. Contacted carnival when we got off the cruise and they refused to do anything and said that they hope we cruise with them in the future. We have also incurred extra expenses as we had to launder all of our belongings and heat treatment, i asked to not bring any cockroaches, bugs or eggs into our home. Carnival has not been responsive and feels that is not the responsibility.

I had to cancel 4 cabins on carnival magic Nov 14 to Aruba out of Miami because our Security Job went out of business (Global Source Security in Houston) And you want even give me my deposits back from the 4 cabins I paid for and i have be a customer for more than 20 year and if $600 is going to break you, I am truly sorry. Before booking a multi-day cruise with Carnival go spend a day in Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, Detroit. Then decide if you want to be stuck on a ship like that in the middle of the sea for multiple days.

If I could give zero stars I would. We have cruised Carnival lines for our orevious 3 sailings. We booked a 4th cruise in March 2025 (for a November 2026 sailing) and our son died suddenly 4 days after booking. It took months to get through the grief enough to call and see about cancelling the cruise, and under these circumstances transfer our deposit to a FUTURE booking. I explained that the dates of the cruise overlapped with the Tribal Ceremony being held in honor of tribe members who passed in 2025, and that at the time of booking NONE of what has happened could have been predicted. Instead i was met by ‘leads’ who can’t their nose out of a policy book long enough to be human stating that I had “waited too long to contact them about this issue”. I’m sorry, was my first thought after watching my son pass to be “yeah, i have to contact Carnival Cruise Lines!”? All I’m asking is to transfer my deposit to a future booking that doesn’t interfere with honoring the deceased in my husband’s Tribal Ceremony. They have no heart, no consideration and don’t give a 💩 what life handed you, they will make ZERO EXCEPTIONS. Won’t ever sail their line again, I’ll book RC,M-ville, V^%*in, Or any other cruise line from now on.

Worst cruise experience ever! Majority of the time you’re waiting in line and the lines don’t move, hours in line to get on the boat, hours in line to drop off your kid at the kids club, hours in line to speak to guest service. Hours in line to get a burger. Majority of the time spent on the cruise is being in a line!

Booked wrong cruise day called one day later and was told cant refund deposit or change to correct date and cruise date 100 days away
