Carnival Cruise LineReviews of carnival.com

My name is James Freeman booking # 7RK3V7. Me , family members and friends planned a celebration cruise with carnival. Due to the hurricane flights were canceled no problems dealing with the airlines. Carnival on the other hand never reached out to our agent to reschedule or refund the money for the trip. I hope things will be resolved for the better. I hope my first experience with Carnival don’t turn out to be a disaster. Not looking for refund just to reschedule or Credit so I can experience what Carnival has to offer me and family members for a life long experience.

When I booked my cruise on June 27th 2017. 7tp0c4 I had to leave a deposit. I asked the sales rep for any reason I need to cancel would I get my deposit back he said they would keep 50 dollars cruise date was set for October 19.i canceled July 8.now they want to keep my deposit.in booking the cruise I specifically asked him about the refund. He did not mention any think about the hidden penalties .i feel like I was lied to

For an American company which insists that it truly values its passengers/customers, I would have really expected a lot more from Carnival cruise lines. We boarded the ship no problem at all but during the cruise the entire ship was left without adequate hot water meaning that guests could not shower. I felt really sorry for families with children and this is not what you need or expect at all. Nearly a week in and no hot water whatsoever - not good enough at all Carnival! Definitely will NOT be going with their cruise line again. What a joke!

I was denied access due to reasons of documentation. I was told that since I had the protection if I called and cancelled I could receive up to 75% of a refund or I could leave the money with carnival as a credit that could be applied to future cruises .I'd been contemplating an upcoming cruise and called yesterday for the first time to make sure all was in order just to find nothing was in order. There was no available credit and I was told the money I thought was a credit was forfeited as a penalty. I could not believe it ! I asked if the recordings were still available and was told no. I've utilized carnival for a few cruises and had no problem ,I have even recommended you all to others. it is with disbelief that I was given such misinformation from one of your employees that has cost me over $600+ and I'm just suppose to be okay with it? please help me!! booking # 7P7GV7,(group booking #) 6D3ZX9 past cruises I had a passport Damita Hannah.

We were 19 people including 13 kids and young adults traveling from Copenhagen to Miami to cruise on the Glory. We chose Glory because of the waterslides. First day of the cruise they covered it in blue plastic and cut the whole slide down. We were lying by the pool in noice and smoke, and everything was full of kids with nowhere else to go. They knew it way before but chose not to inform anybody. To save money on drydock, they chose to ruin 1000´s of peoples vacation. Its unacceptable. We were compensated with a small bag of gummibears and a 5 dollar card to the arcades. They prommised us we could be sendt home and get a replacement cruise next year, until they fully understood the price of sending 19 people to europe. If you ever want to go cruising, look at the reviews and chose a different company. Carnival couldnt care less of their commitments to their clients. For us 19 people, its NEVER Carnival again.

I have done many cruises and this latest experience with P&O on the Britannia is proving to be a pain. Firstly its for my mothers 70th Birthday, so thought I would plan ahead. Advise - Do not book early. I paid a premium for booking early and saw the cruise advertised at a much lower price months later. When I questioned this i was told that its part of the fluid pricing policy and fares can go up or down. I have been watching these now for a few months and they don't seem to go up? I booked a specific cabin as I know where the preferred location is for my mother and her walker. I asked that we be near the lifts and our room was allocated. I have even filled out the disability questionnaire to get assistance getting to and from the cruise terminal. I am now being told that someone would have mention an upgrade option and P&O have decided with 6 weeks to go that they will move us. Far from acceptable, so now arguing about our selected cabin. P&O are saying 'You'll have to accept the new room'. Advise - Say no to an upgrade, they're not likely to give you a suite. Its just moving you around the ship to get the best use of the cabins. Overall i would make sure that you confirm everything twice and email customer services to make sure they know your thoughts and that you don't wish to change or move cabins. So frustrating, come on P&O sort it out.

I am a single woman and have an opportunity to go on a Western Carribean cruise in December. I called Carnival to inquire about prices. I was told that I had to pay for double occupancy even though it's just myself in the room. I understand paying a little bit more but having to pay for 2 people???? I think that's a little over the top. I feel like I am being punished for being single at this time. When I asked more questions the sales rep asked me why I just don't share a room with my brother and sister in law. Really?? A little ackward maybe?? I asked for a few perks since I am paying double occupancy and was denied everything. I am eating for one, drinking beverages for one and everything else. I feel carnival should review this policy on having to pay double for those who don't have partners or simply just want to travel alone.
