On August 5th, my pregnant wife and I boarded the Carnival Conquest for what we had hoped would be one last great getaway before the baby got here. Upon waiting around for 2+ hours for our room to finally be ready, during this time, we waited (forever) in line a the customer service desk to discuss the adult beverage package for myself, since my wife couldn't use it since she's pregnant. upon booking the cruise, my wife told them she was pregnant, and even asked about how pregnant she was allowed to be prior to boarding the ship and they notated the account. customer service said they'd add the package for me, but it would take 20 minutes. we said okay, fine. waited 30 minutes, and went to the bar for them to check it. wasn't activated. we were sent downstairs by the bar to the doctor for a note they claimed we needed. doctor said they can't/won't do that to go back...bartended gave me and my wife attitude, were rude to us, and cast us away. my wife waited another 20-30min to be sent back to the service desk for them to tell her to keep waiting. FINALLY after 2 hours, it went on after making a scene. upon finally getting our room key and going into our room, it was beyond disgusting. hadn't been dusted in months, mold on the couch, broken ac. pregnant, she wiped the entire room down and cleaned it and i reported it to room service. they came in an swapped the couch out. sent someone to service ac, but it never got better for all 3 nights. 78 degrees we were forced to sleep in, with her and me sweating. the dining room service was the worst (20-30 minutes for wine to come to me), steak came out raw 2 nights in a row. rood was utterly disgusting. loud obnoxious people keeping us up awake at 3am while i call the service desk to complain. the ship was dingy, dirty, and disgusting. inside and out. will never return, and i will be making it known how u treat pregnant people

I went on the Conquest July 22nd, I gave my debit card which I was charged $100 even before I got to the ship, I started getting random amounts on my card which didn’t have nothing to do with the charges I was making, it’s been a week since I got back I was already charged for what I spent and I still have pending transactions that have a hold on the money I have in the bank. I have called Carnival and a recording tells you to go on a website I need to talk to someone not go on a website . I’m really disappointed. This was my 5th cruise with Carnival and I don’t think I’m going back, The food at the Restaurant was not good at all the crew was friendly.

My family and I booked a cruise for late August all the way back in March of this year. On Carnival's website they state that there were a limited number of vaccine exemptions because of the CDC's requirements, however they never specified the number and they stated they were given out on a first come first serve basis with them beginning to be processed 90 days out. However, when the time came for exemptions to be given we were denied the exemptions and every time we have called to understand why we have been repeatedly lied to and they have been extremely unhelpful. They have told us that they don't actually know or keep track of how many people have been given exemptions, or if any one with an exemption has cancelled. They also say that only 5% of the 70% capacity of the ship can have an exemption, even though the CDC was requiring 10% not 5%, so they violated the CDC program. They have told us that they wish they could have more people on their cruise ships, however their hands were tied by the CDC, however that is a lie as mentioned above. Also now that the CDC has dropped the program they have changed nothing. Carnival is a lying company that should never receive any other money in their lifetime and they should go bankrupt for their numerous lies and inability to provide actual answers to those who contact them.

I had a lame cruise but what's worse are the people who don't work on the ship and how little they care about your vacation. The following is what I sent to Carnival customer care after getting off the ship (which I was directed to do). "I am upset with the lack of information and service you have for younger guests right now. I am a single mother sailing with my 3 year old. For our vacation I debated booking with you or going to an all inclusive resort, both offering kids club options. I chose to sail with you because of your camp ocean program and the activities that includes for kids. Before sailing I called guest support to ask about covid testing and and camp ocean to get some clarification. I was unsure what my child would be classified as for vaccinations since there is currently no covid 19 vaccine for children under 5. The representative assured me that my 3 year old would be able to attend camp ocean as long as she was tested within 3 days prior- the same information available on your website currently. In pre check in I was able to enroll my 3 year old into the Penguin program and check the box that said she is unvaccinated.  Upon arrival to the port I was told my child needed to be covid tested again. A very frustrating process to do again with a 3 year old on the first day of vacation. The paper given to me during testing led me to question the availability of camp ocean. I asked guest services before getting on the ship and again was told that she can participate in camp ocean since she is negative. As soon as I got on the ship I went to camp ocean to check my child in because I had scheduled a massage. The camp ocean staff told me they were not accepting any children under 5. Even after pre-enrolling and being told by 2 different carnival cruise staff that she was eligible, I was immediately disappointed as soon as I got on the ship.  The lovely staff members in the spa were very kind and (Removed) offered to watch her during my massage. I cannot thank her enough for that.  But what is ultimately upsetting to me is the lack of information and communication about what my child was not able to do. I paid the same amount for her that I did for myself and she was not able to get off the ship without an excursion or attend kids activities, this in turn restricted me from attending adult only activities or any other late night activities. Not only that, but I check my account to find a $150 charge for the covid test that we had already had the stressful experience of doing 3 days prior to boarding. If I had been given all of this information beforehand I without a doubt would have chosen a different vacation. I understand having covid restrictions for safety and that some of those restrictions are out of your control. What is in your control is the communication and accomodations to guests who don't even have the option to be unvaccinateed. It's not her fault that there is not a vaccine, but carnival cruise allowed her vaccination status to take away from both of our vacations." Now I do my research. It was my first crusie and first vacation with/since the 3 year old, so I studied their website. It was a month before I got a reply that basically said "sorry you didn't understand" I have screenshots of their website where the incorrect information backed what I believed which I included in the follow up email. I also provided the information about the phone call where I told the agent "if there's no kids club then I will cancel, thats the whole reason we're going." And to that email, no reply. In addition to the multitude of lies I was fed about the wonderful things we could do on the ship- bingo was the main entertainment. Along with the comedy club I didnt get to go to. We stayed up a couple nights and there were hours before midnight when there was absolutely no food available that wasn't an additional charge. I really want to know why the deserts would close sooo early. This was a 4 day cruise and our activities included going to the hot tub (the pool was too cold), getting ready to eat in the dining room, and watching the 2 kid friendly tv channels in our cabin. Yay. Needless to say tye cruise was sub-par and we were bored a lot. The positives: the main dining was great! The crusie staff were awesome-they were the only actual entertainment for my child and I besides the hot tub. My friend told me the activities sucked because Liberty is an old ship which I noted. But I presented evidence support the fact that Carnival lied to me and they have shown no care in even replying. I will NEVER sail Carnival again. I ended up paying more than I wanted/should have and getting less than I planed/needed in addition to this disrespect.

Hi, My name is Cornelious Dunn and I am a military veteran. I was booked for Carnival Breeze, B0F6W3 and my daughter and I missed the cruise. We drove from Dallas, TX to Galveston, TX which was 4 and a half hours. We were expecting to arrive two hours early for check in. There was a bad traffic wreck which delayed us tremendously so we only arrived with 45 minutes to spare. We were told we couldn’t board because we were too late! This really broke my daughters heart because this was our first cruise and we were celebrating her 10th birthday. I cannot get her to stop crying and I have to make this up to her! Can you all please give us a refund or a credit on another cruise? I am a single father and I don’t have 1,1000 dollars to throw away. I apologize for the inconvenience but I’m begging you all to please help me out this one time. I look forward to booking with you all again if you can accommodate. Thanks,

On March 14, 2022, we book a cruise to depart from Los Angeles on August 6, 2022. On May 19, 2022, we booked airline tickets through Carnival that were supposed to leave on August 6, 2022, Southwest Flight 4389 6:10 am arriving in Nashville at 6:45 am, Leaving Nashville at 7:40 am arriving in Los Angeles at 9:55 am. The reason we booked the cruise and flight like this is that I am disabled, waiting for a Heart Transplant and have to take certain medication at certain times. Also, the medication needs to be refrigerated. In addition, I have to board two dogs, which we were going to do on August 5, 2022. We paid in full for everything. Today, I get an itinerary from Carnival stating that they changed the flights to August 5, 2022, leaving RDU at 11:50 am arriving in Los Angeles at 6:20 pm. They NEVER called to ask if this was ok. I called them and they stated that they cannot do anything for us, including giving us a refund for everything we spent on this. I offered a solution and told them that since we have to come a day early, I would expect them to pay for a hotel overnight and pay for the extra day that the dogs will have to be boarded with is $80.00 x 2 = $160.00. They told me no. This is not my fault that they didn't honor our other flights and why should I be out money for their mistakes. We are good clients with them, but they are so hurt for cash, and they really don't care. Now I'm going to be out over $4,000.00 because of their mistakes and that is not fair. DO NOT USE THEM. WE NEED TO PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!!

Carnival has done it again more mistakes in regards to the cruise we have yet to take!!!! They stated the drink package was included, then not included, then when I go to pay for it online it says I can’t get the drink package because I have the drink package. A week of phone calls later and I can’t tell you how many hours on hold, and not to mention how many incompetent employees!!! I’m ready to start drinking now just dealing with this! I will never book a cruise on carnival again!

On Saturday, June 18 I was denied access on a carnival cruise leaving from New Orleans Louisiana. I had waited for months to get this 1st experience, not knowing how dreadful it would be. This was the worst experience of my life!!! Upon my reaching the terminal my luggage was unloaded and I headed to check in at that point I realize my birth certificate Was in one of my luggage bags. I walked to the guy which unload my bags and ask him what he please retrieve it while he was heading To retrieve the bag when One of the workers wave to me and said I didn’t need my birth certificate now .So I headed back to the check in , Well now I was herded like cattle to the second floor. As soon as I reach the desk I was asked did I have a ID and birth certificate. I say to that person I was told I didn’t need it now. She never said I would need it on the next floor. At that time they continue to check in my elderly aunt and my fiend herded to to another area. ( i feel they should have left us all stay together),I was herded to a different area where other with the same issues were sitting. It felt like the wait in the ER waiting area. I sat there from 1150 until 3 o’clock. At 2:10 I was told they still didn’t find my luggage and at 2:45 I would no longer be allowed to board the boat. At this time one of the curries name Evan was doing his best To retrieve my luggage with no luck. I sat there and watch workers with the nastiest attitudes I have ever seen in my life. It was like they got joy out of some folks not having what they needed and spoke to all of us like we were children. I express to the supervisor that I’m not a child and she shouldn’t speak to anyone in that manner especially since so may workers are saying so many different things. I was very upset to see no compassion being shown to people who family member were wisked away thinking you going to be able to catch up with them and then you can’t. I was truly heart broken!! My Aunt called my cell and said she asked them to help her get off the boat and told no! she couldn’t get off. When asked about my luggage which held my medications, cloth and other items that I don’t want to leave behind to said they could Fed ex it to me I could pick it up or my family could bring it back. When asked how to get a refund they gave a number that had a message about applying for a passporti watch two employees explain to platinum members that they would let them on with a expired passport but they had to renew it up one their return for Mexico. The Carnival Cruise Valor need to be CLEAR about the Process of getting on their boat, they also need to get there luggage department up to date, all they do is unload and throw bags on cart. It was very disappointing to have no been able to board that ship. It cost me money to get to my friend house because my house keys were in my bag with many other items I never would have left!!!! I had to buy clothe, food , over the counter medication for 5 days because everything was on that boat. Upon finally reaching someone to see about a refund I was told I need to go online and write a review. ??? Carnival Cruise Line I need someone to tell my how to get a refund I never would ha thought my first real vacation would be the worst experience of my life. Three months of planning and savings for something I never got To experience. Sincerely Extremely disappointed
