We were booked on the Jubilee for Sailing Oct. 30, 2023, but cruise was canceled. We had airline tickets on British Airways for Oct. 24, 2023 with insurance, but insurance company said tough. Will not cover loss. $2633.00 Need help please

We booked a cruise on carnival and took the insurance. We cancelled and our doctor sent a letter stating why we were unable to go on the cruise. After waiting for weeks and probably months, we were denied. They said it wasn't approved. I guess you have to send a death certificate. I called Carnival customer service and they said to write a review (not sure if that would work). We have been Gold Members and have gone on over 15 cruises and they are giving us a hard time giving us a refund ($200. and $98. insurance) The insurance company is a scam. They received a letter for both my husband and I from a Medical Doctor. You would think Carnival would step up considering our history.

This company is a POS and the insurance is a scam as well ! We were forced to go on our cruise because if you passed the 90days mark they going to penalized you 1/2 of what you paid for your cruise. During that time even if there bad weather going on it still not a good reason to cancel either. Our 7days cruise one of the port got cancel due to the hurricane going on and all they did was refund our shore excusion and that pretty much it ... Anything they offer to sell on the cruise word of advice don't buy ! What kind of freaking hair cut and deep conditioner charge you $247 ? A stupid photo package if you forget to buy before you go on cruise OMG they use give you to download no print out so might as well bring your IPHONE and stayed away from it . They complained that they not making money but the way I see it they def over charged everything and ripped us all before we even went on the cruise . So even with all the foods we ate still not even worth what we all have to fork out for our cruise . My God investigate these douchebags for real ! My family and I got really sick after my kids went to their Kids/Teens club just to tell the world how unsafe these cruise line is .

I just got back from my cruise for Christmas and it was absolutely a NIGHTMARE. Carnival is absolutely the bottom of cruises. The food was worst then dog food, it was All processed and in order for the customers to have a decent meal you had to purchase a meal at a restaurant within the boat that is $48 per person which is ridiculous. From all the money customers spend to cruise and spend on the boat, customers should be serviced top notch food. The staff is extremely rude and arrogant. I didn’t even get the correct room I booked. Even the people on the boat were ghetto, people were so out of hand that security had to get involved. I will cruise again, but definitely NOT with CARNIVAL.

Carnival cruise is the absolute worst to deal with. They do not care about one single consumer. I booked two rooms on a cruise for my family and got a discounted rate in July 2022 for January 2023. I paid the balances off in September 2022. I even called in November 2022 to upgrade one of my rooms. Then 25 days before cruise I called in to see if they had another room available because grinds wanted to go. They said the rooms were really expensive because my friends have never cruised. I asked if I could get the room for them and they said you can not have two rooms booked on same cruise. Told me they would cancel the other room then was told I had to pay more for the second room even though they were paid in full. So they removed me from my suite and put me in the other room even though I paid extra for the upgrade. After 7 hours on the phone with the rudest people I have ever dealt with the only way I was getting back in my suite was to pay an additional 1300.00. I had no choice but to pay it. I have emailed every executive I can find and no one will respond. If the money was wrong for the rooms why did their website allow me to book it that way? I will never take another carnival cruise and I just want people to know they do not honor their website prices. They will force you to pay more.

My wife and I were scheduled to go on the Sunrise cruise today November 10, 2020 from the Miami port . Everything was paid for and in line until my flight out of California was cancelled, I tried catching other flights but unfortunately the available flights would not get us there until the next day and some were cancelled due to the tropical storm Nicole. It’s out of our hands how Mother Nature works but also I don’t live around the corner from the port. I lost my prepaid hotel expenses and now it looks like “Carnival” can’t reimburse me. All I’m looking for is a credit or voucher for a cruise later down the road, it’s not our fault weather was a factor and airlines were canceling flights due to the hurricane! Hopefully somebody from carnival can give us some good news because up to now I have a sour taste for this company. My wife and I haven’t had a vacation together in 13 years we were so excited for this cruise and it all went south. Carnival Cruise Line has More Sexual Assaults than any other Cruise Line with a Comparable Fleet When compared to Royal Caribbean, the only other cruise line with a comparable sized fleet, Carnival Cruise Line led the cruise industry in sexual assaults against passengers. According to the DOT cruise crime statistics the breakdown of sexual assaults for the last quarter is as follows: Carnival: 20 sexual assault victims (17 passengers).

Cruise Insurance is a SCAM! We had booked 4 cabins for a Mexican Cruise in July (Panorama), and then I got COVID really bad right before the trip. We all had to cancel. Carnival let us know we'd be reimbursed for all costs, and we had purchased their travel insurance. Well, after 85 days of endless phone calls to Carnival and AON (insurance) claims, escalating as much as possible, I've learned they just send $250 checks to each person and don't even look at the paperwork or anything else until after we file appeals to each claim. They are super busy and keep telling us to wait 30 more days. It's ridiculous!! So not worth the headache. I was so looking forward to a cruise with the family, but I'm not doing that with these people if I ever try again!!!
