We purchased our first family cruise through Carnival and we were so excited to finally afford our children an opportunity to experience a cruise. As a woman in her mid-forties, this was going to be my first experience as well. However, after 3 years of not catching COVID-19, we all tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time 1 week before our trip. I called Carnival and shared our bad news. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip, not really knowing what our options were and still processing the fact that I have COVID-19. I was completely unaware that I would be charged a penalty of over 90% of what I paid because we were positive. This may not be a lot for most, but it was a lot for our family. Not only do we lose our money, but we also missed out on sharing this experience with our children and each other. I'm so disappointed in how Carnival supports COVID patience. I didn't want a refund, just a later date to travel when we were medically cleared to travel. Now to break it to the children.

Just got done with a 7 day cruise and got off the ship today. I didn't realize that if you don't purchase the photo package while on the ship, all your precious photos are deleted and you have no chance to do so. You would think with all the messages they give out on the intercom and the papers they send to the room with info, they would atleast warn guests that they need to purchase the photos before getting off the ship. Now what should have been a really fun day after an awesome week of family time has turned into heartbreak. I've been trying to contact them for hours and no one can help me so my whole experience has been ruined as I'm just so upset I lost all those cute family photos of my kids and i that I wanted to purchase. Hope this reviews helps someone else to not make the same mistake I made in thinking you could get your photos at the end.

Worst experience ever for an anniversary would not recommend this even for rat we found s*** on a bed they went through our stuff they gas service staff is rude ignorant I would not recommend this for anybody they tossed our room went through our stuff my wife got bit by spider they canceled all of our excursions and didn't tell us because she was pregnant until 2 days into the cruise we would have booked to another time

I have taken a couple of cruises with Carnival and had a nice time. But the one time I didn't because my room was filthy and outdated they could care less. The customer service is extremely poor. I have pictures that they don't even want to see. I thought that they would at least give me credit to use on a future cruise, but they wouldn't even do that. I had already booked a cruise on a different boat before I was told no. If I had known that before hand I wouldn't have.

The way the excursion crew reacted to our complaints about a botched excursion amounted to fraud. A simple refund of $60 would have cleared things up but they refused even though they failed to deliver on all three parts of a 3 part excursion. We spent 5/6 hours on a bus and never reached the beach. Buyer beware!!

The first day at sea half of the dirty carpet was soaked. They we will fix that. they did but we had huge blowers in our room. We told to shut them off so we could sleep! The room and bathroom smelled like sewage All week long. The smell made us sick. So for their error they gave us $50.00 dollars off! What the F!.Then the food was so bad we were sick the whole week. the worst part was we had lobster on Thursday at early dining. The lobster was not cooked so we only had a couple of bites. We had to leave the dining room and go to our room and we both got very SICK! My husband was really sick with a temp. of 101 so I called medical and a nurse finally showed up.My husband was given two medications one for nausea and one for Diarrhea. Then we had to stay in that smelly nasty room for 24 hours. That made us sick. So the great Cruise Services Manager Robert Karman gave us an offer off our next cruise of $97.00. That was a big insult to us! What we want and deserve is a Full refund for our cruise! We had to save our money for this cruise and you let us down with your awful ship! The shows were very low class! Just want our refund back. Karen Huston

I bought the travel insurance that carnival offered and had an accident on my way to my cruise. I am greatly disappointed in carnival cruise line for using this neglectful company Aon. They have no good reviews they do not show good faith nor do you get to speak to anyone or do you get paid for the coverage you are supposed to have! Carnival allows this lie to be sold on their site and I am holding them accountable for every penny that this has cost me.
