we just went spent 5 days on the carnival breeze. that is my last cruise with carnival .. I did a cruise with them about 12 years ago. That was absolutely incredible. This cruise wasn’t even in the same ballpark I learned from some of the people on the cruise that if you spend a little money in the casino, they’ll send you vouchers for free rooms so they’ve made it affordable to almost everyone, including people who don’t know how to act or dress and have no manners the food was absolutely disgusting and 90% of the people are not people I would even be around on a day-to-day basis. I smelled marijuana almost every day of the trip in the Port in Progresso I think you could probably compare to hell on earth. The people were rude. Everything was extremely overpriced and it was rundown and nasty!! don’t even chance a bus ride from the boat to the airport through carnival that is an absolute nightmare and it might not just be your boat more than likely another boat will also be on your bus so if they get there late, you might sit on your bus for two hours waiting for the people till they decide to come and get on the bus and you might even miss your plane because several of the people on our bus did miss their flight we waited an hour and a half for people from another boat actually two people from another boat had a whole bust load of people waiting for them . We were treated extremely bad by the person managing the buses. he acted as if we had no right to be upset because a whole bus load of people were missing their flight so we could sit there in the bus and wait for two people. We shouldn’t be upset. Carnival has let their standards completely go they don’t care who they get on there. I did not feel safe on there. The people next-door to us were cussing and screaming, and fighting all night long. It was a little bit terrifying and the way that the man at the bus is treated us was abusive carnival is on their way into bankruptcy from everything I can see ..the carnival breeze that boat is just disgusting.

Terrible Customer Service Before We Even Boarded Carnival Panorama **Extremely Disappointing First Experience with Carnival Cruise Line** I booked my family's first-ever cruise aboard the Carnival Panorama, traveling from Los Angeles to Mexico. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be an exciting family vacation has already turned into an incredibly frustrating experience before we've even boarded the ship. As a first-time cruiser, I wasn't aware that cabins toward the front of the ship generally experience more movement than those in the middle. After speaking with experienced cruisers, I learned that a midship cabin would be a better choice, especially since we're traveling with our young child, who is sensitive to motion sickness. I contacted Carnival customer service to request a cabin change. There were available cabins in the middle of the ship, but I was told that switching would be considered a "downgrade" and that their system doesn't allow downgrades. **I made it very clear that I wasn't asking for a refund. I was willing to lose the price difference, give up my promotional benefits, and even PAY EXTRA just to move to a more suitable cabin for my family.** Despite this, Carnival repeatedly refused my request. After several calls and attempts to speak with management, I was finally contacted by a supervisor. She told me they could make a special exception if I paid additional fees and gave up certain promotional benefits. I agreed without hesitation. **But then came the ridiculous catch.** She explained that because the replacement cabin accommodates four passengers, Carnival could take that cabin away from us later if another family of four wanted to book it. We are a family of three. So basically, Carnival wanted me to PAY EXTRA to change my cabin, but they wouldn't guarantee that I could actually keep the cabin I was paying for! How does that make any sense? What makes this even more frustrating is that **Carnival's own website allows me to book that exact cabin for three passengers right now.** Yet, when I try to move my existing reservation into it, suddenly there's a risk of losing it to a larger party. It honestly feels like Carnival is playing games with its customers, making a simple request unnecessarily complicated and presenting an uncertain arrangement as some kind of generous favor. And the worst part wasn't even the ridiculous cabin policy. **It was the supervisor's attitude and behavior.** From the beginning of our conversation, her tone was rude, aggressive, and dismissive. She kept emphasizing that Carnival was being nice by offering me this "exception." When I tried to explain that paying extra for a cabin that could later be taken away wasn't a reasonable solution, she repeatedly interrupted me, raised her voice, and spoke over me. **And then, while I was still trying to explain my concerns, SHE HUNG UP ON ME.** Yes, a Carnival customer service SUPERVISOR actually hung up on a paying customer who was simply trying to find a reasonable solution for his family. This is completely unacceptable. I'm not asking for a free upgrade, a refund, or special treatment. I'm simply trying to make sure my young child has a comfortable experience on our first cruise. I'm even willing to pay more to make that happen. Instead, I've been met with inflexible policies, unreasonable conditions, and shockingly unprofessional customer service. **For a company that advertises fun, relaxing, family-friendly vacations, Carnival has managed to create nothing but stress, frustration, and disappointment before our trip has even started.** As a first-time cruiser, this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in Carnival Cruise Line. If this is how they treat customers before boarding, I can only wonder how they handle problems once passengers are actually at sea. My advice to anyone considering Carnival Panorama, especially families traveling with young children: **Be extremely careful when choosing your cabin. Don't assume Carnival will help you make a reasonable change later, even if other cabins are available and you're willing to pay extra.** Carnival needs to reconsider its rigid booking policies and, more importantly, how its customer service supervisors treat paying guests. **A family vacation should start with excitement, not frustration, uncertainty, and disrespect.** Unfortunately, Carnival has already made our first cruising experience memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Our family booked a Carnival Panorama cruise from September 26, 2026 through October 4, 2026. The cruise was originally sold with four scheduled ports: Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, La Paz, and Cabo San Lucas. This was supposed to be a special family trip and a celebration for my grandmother, who has cancer. Before the cruise even left, Carnival canceled the first 2 ports. I immidiately called Carnival and requested to cancel the cruise with a full refund or reschedule it for another date. My request was declined. We had no other choice but to go on this cruise. After that, all four scheduled ports were canceled and replaced with two visits to Ensenada and extra sea days. This was a very different cruise experience from what our family paid for. I understand that Carnival cannot control weather. My issue here is not that bad weather happened. My complaint is that after the trip plan was changed a lot, Carnival did not give a fair or meaningful solution to passengers who no longer got the cruise experience they paid for. My family booked 3 cabins for 8 people, and this was not cheep at all. This was our hard earned money that we saved up for this trip. Losing the planned ports was very upsetting and important to us. We brought up our concerns many times onboard with Guest Services and management. Carnival offered only a $300 non-refundable onboard credit per cabin, which was not a meaningful solution considering how much the trip changed and the cost of the trip. We asked for a fair solution, such as a large partial refund, a large future cruise/rebooking credit, or another fair remedy showing how different the cruise we got was from the cruise we bought. Carnival refused to provide any meaningful help. I am asking BBB to help get a fair solution from Carnival. I am requesting either a large partial refund, a large rebooking credit, or another fair remedy because the cruise we got was very different from the cruise we purchased. The way 4000 passengers were treated onboard this ship was unfair and unjust, and I would not wish for anyone to go through this

On the Carnival cruise Paradise, we asked for a king bed. Instead we received two twin beds shoved together. The buffet food was cold, tasted poorly, and of poor quality as my and my girlfriend's stomach was messed up the whole time. The drinks were all super weak. There was not much for entertainment. They tried to charge us over $200 in tips without asking. I checked my charges and saw them on there and got them removed. Felt sneaky of them to just charge and not say anything, especially when there is a spot to select pre-paid gratuities (which I did not select). The two hottubs on the Lido deck were luke-warm to cool, and while the hottub for adults only was warmer, it was only marginally so. They actually refuse cash which is inconvenient. The staff however were incredible. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and clearly went above and beyond working 12 hour + days. There were staff up scrubbing the Lido deck at 12:30am... give them more money and more breaks.

First off the beds were SUPER hard and uncomfortable this was my first cruise ever and expected the beds to be at least a little comfy like at hotels. Nope think again it's was like sleeping on concrete for 6 days! Secondly, the cabin flooded and they did nothing about it except put a fan on the floor to air dry it. I'm now learning from other experiences that it happens A LOT! So for half the week we had to walk around on a soaked floor. No sorry about that, no let's get you a gift card or a free meal NOTHING. Just here's a fan and that's it. So also, with that problem our luggage also got soaked with our clothes inside. Next on the list. It was an anniversary so we got a gift card for a massage for $75. Initially thought this a nice gesture until I tried to book the massage they asked if I was using a gift card and I said yes it's an anniversary gift card and they said okay well if you're going to use the gift card it's not going to be that price for the massage anymore it's going to be $40 more now. Carnival HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?! So they actually didn't give me a gift card it was a scam ( money grab) just to get you in there. Lastly we got a drug dog to check our room and he went crazy and they looked through our bags and only found my Olly's Prebiotic and probiotics; Labeled and in a case which online said I didn't have to do. It just needed to be in a clear bag not labeled if it's a vitamin. Well they found it asked me to open it which I did because I had nothing to hide and they conviscated it. They said they LOOKED like THC gummies and took them. I asked them to test it because I have bad gut issues and I need to take them on my trip or I'll get sick and they just showed me a picture and said see and didn't care about what I said and refused to test them. I couldn't eat the rest of the 5 day trip. I was nauseous and constipated the entire time. Horrible experience! I'm going to stick to resorts like I have in the past and they're going to lose out on So much money from us because my family was waiting to hear from my experience because we were going to do a whole family trip and there was going to be at least 10 of us going. DO NOT BOOK WITH CARNIVAL UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING MONEY AND TIME.

I'm current on the carnival sunshine. This cruise has been a hot mess. The food is 40% edible, the wifi ain't shit, guest services didn't know how to solve any problems. The cruise director didn't know how to galvanize a group for fun. I've sailed with carnival before but this cruise has been by far my worst experience. I've never been on a cruise where I was excited for it to be over. The best thing about this cruise was my room attendant Mr Carter. I can't wait for this ship to dock in the next 12 hours. Never cruising with carnival again and that's the general consensus of my group.

Casino manager refused to payout a win from an arcade machine that is clearly rigged to not pay. The game allowed me to enter a key into a hole and the key would not turn until it exited the hole. Clearly a malfunction with the machine and the manager on duty told me to deal with it. First and last time carnival cruiser.
