I went to CareNow in Prince George/Colonial Hieghts VA I used a bank card for co-pay since I have a medical card on file for payments already. I have never received a bill for this service either, I couldnt even provide the account number, because I didnt have the bill online or in the mail! CareNow took the payment for services off of an unauthorized card! They are trying to say that was an authorized card, and I know it isnt I never authorized any other card other than my HSA card. I've called billing, they told me to call the clinic, and the clinic sent me back to billing, in which they never answered!! What they did is theft! And i want to know how how they are allowed to bill on unauthorized cards! Just because i used a card for a co pay doesn't mean its authorized for higher medical bills! You have to sign to authorize it. There is enough money on my HSA and that card is authorized Just took the money without my authorization out of a bank account ! Watch your accounts!! When we walked in the receptionist was helping another patient checking in and she rudely asked “ may I help you “ then she told us to scan a QR code and we would receive a text and follow the instructions in the text. My wife was being seen and she had to answer all these questions and upload her ID and insurance card which took about 15 minutes to upload. Finally after answering all the questions and uploading the ID and insurance card when she had to sign to finish the check in process it wouldn’t even process, she ended up having to go back to the rude receptionist who by the way has no business in healthcare or customer service. We went to the Hull street Midlothian location on a Saturday . I will never come to this place again the customer service is awful and the check in process is terrible. If you are sick and in need of care I would go to patient first before this CareNow urgent care facility.
