Carelinx it's a market place for caregiver and families to meet. You pay for a background check and then you can apply for jobs. The site says caregivers are insured and bonded but that's not the case. I found myself in. It took them time to find a insurance broker. When that happened they gave me a 7insurance company named Intact insurance. They matched me with an adjuster.. They sent me paperwork to fill out releasing my medical past and social security and whatever they needed. After I signed all the paper and sent it back . A week later they tell me this policy doesn't cover Washington State and California. I was confused as to why, I went through all of that, if they knew this in the beginning. I told the Adjuster that I would be making a complaint and also told her I wanted a certified letter that my personal information wasn't going to used or sent to anyone else She agreed in an email but I never received any letter in my email or sent to my address. After all of this Carelinx. cancelled my account and I was unable to retrieve my Pay stubs since everything is done online. I also worked with Carelinx in the past. They bully caregivers and if they don't get What they want they just cancel your account or stop giving you client at that time it was called Optimal aging. They make money when you make money and all the care about is the bottom line. They also stress because you make more money on the site that you cant really complain. When you try to resolve an issue they give you the ran around. Carelinx Will drop you so quick before you can blink. I have saved my interactions with them especially if your person of color. Caregivers be Aware your not Insured and bonded and ask what that really means/ be informed about the site and how it work. Carelinx isn't there to advocate for you. They are a for profit company. They make money off of every paycheck you get. Do your research be informed don't just take their word. I reached out to the CEO no response. I matter and so does my voice. My account on Carelinx was closed after all this happened not before. The family's own word's said Carelinx said you are being taken care of. They were tossing me back and forth like a ball. I was hurt on the job and they didn't care one bit. No empathy whatsoever! So my voice doesn't matter to Carelinx. Carelinx again is about their bottom line which is making money not caring about Essential workers at all. Thank you

They refused to pay me when i work for them untill i told them i was going to call my lawyer

The caregiver slept on the job. She didn’t do a small task I asked her even though she was here 8 hours. She also didn’t speak good English. There was a major communication gap. My Dad and I were always repeating ourselves because she couldn’t understand.

I am hoping I am the exception to the rule here but the first caregiver stole my Moms credit card and went on a 6 day spree. The support from Carelinx was nothing and noone followed up with me after reporting. The 2nd person I hired clocked in as soon as she reached the parking lot, not when she was in my Mom's apartment as allowed by Carelinx. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind that, however, she ran into a friend and had a "brief" 30 minute conversation with a friend before getting to my Mom. The only reason I knew this is because I was on the phone with my Mom when she said she was there, according to her time sheet. I think carelinx has the potential to be good but it is a crapshoot and the follow up from corporate is nonexistent except to make a sale.

Initially I was excited to work for CareLinx because the starting pay was very good. Plus in addition they added hazard pay which made it seem all worth it. To my understanding, the position I applied for was for a facility in Sylmar. The listing they posted said they would be flexible to my needs and I had requested MORNING shifts. Come to find out, I was told I would be going to a Glendale facility which is almost 30 miles from me and not to mention they scheduled me for a NIGHT shift. They said it would be for that one time and I was fine with that. They also mentioned to me that they would prioritize my preferences and give me a better schedule. A day after I finished that shift, they scheduled me again for another night shift in Glendale. I was already prepared to work that night, then they cancelled on me last minute. They then proceeded to schedule me at the initial facility last minute, but I was still determined to work so I went. The facility they made me go to didn’t have proper PPE, was scarce on gloves that CNA’s had to ask me from my own, was short on staff and the load for an LVN was tremendous and tiring, the RN’s were lazy and demanded things on the spot as if you were a dog, and many more... I vented to Carelinx and they assured me that there would be extra help the following day. The “help” supposedly didn’t even show up because she was sent home. Miscommunication? I’m not surprised. So to my surprise I had to do the same thing all over again for another shift. As I was completing my timesheets all week, I kept getting them rejected. I was promised a certain amount of hazard pay for going in, and they didn’t comply to it. This company pretty much short-handed me money. I honestly do not trust them at all. They’ll promise one thing, but won’t go through with it. They’re only priority is getting someone scheduled wherever just to get their money from that facility, even if it takes lying to get it done. I have invoices as proof, so they can’t lie about it. Never working for this company ever again and I suggest you don’t either.

I am a customer in need of care for my wife. I have made appointments with Carelinx caregivers, Only 1 showed for the appointments. The others did not show or call. Sad. All of their profiles said how much they care about their patients. Baffled in Arkansas. I think the company should set up the interviews and then follow up. How can you be a good company and not your caregivers aren't showing up for interviews or work.

I applied a at carelinx online. I had an interviewed on the phone, passed all the neccessary question. The guy who interviewed me told me congratulations you have passed everything, the next step is to do background check which in implies with some fees so I did that. They told me I have 75% and my back background checks came was not successful. That was shocked to me because I'm a full-time worker at a big hospital and employees of the year. Never had any issues about my license or criminals misconduct. So I called carelinx they told me my accounts has been deactivated and they will activate it for me so that I can the background check. Its been almost 2 months now carelinx did do it. For me I don't trust them.

It's because of the tax crap.
