When I first signed up with carelinks…
When I first signed up with carelinks they found someone to help me right away. That person came to my house 3 times and I was extremely pleased with her work. But then she totaled her car and couldn’t come anymore. That was right before Christmas. And carelinks hasn’t found another helper for me since then.

Hiring practice
In all honesty. The turn around time that it has taken to get my caregiver hired has taken to long. There are to many modes of communication that can be used to get a job done. It should not take 2-3 weeks to get anyone hired. People that have applied need to work. At this rate you are not considering that urgent need be meet. Calls should be monitored for training purposes.

Caretakers are overpaid as they limited…
Caretakers are overpaid as they limited on assistance they can provide. Caretakers' hourly wages are exuberant wages to Medicare. I have wanted to hire caretakers with competitive hourly rates competitive to my area and it is not available.

CareLinx owed back payroll taxes that…
CareLinx owed back payroll taxes that was charged to my bank account but never paid to the IRS as required. CareLinx failed to report the correct W2 earnings for my caregiver by over $10,000. I had contacted the local office of CareLinx to inquire about reimbursement of $1,800 due to me. It had taken 2 months to get paid after many calls to inquire about the status of my claim. Totally unacceptable.

Staffing is the major issue
Staffing is the major issue. They can't find caregivers to help me. Of the 8 hours a month for six months, I have had maybe 10 hours in six mos. The one helper who they finally got was totally unreliable. She would cancel 10 times at the last minute. I have called United Healthcare to complain. I now have a new care advisor on Eastern Standard Time, when I am on Central Time, who has not found anyone. I am handicapped and need assistance.

I have received everything from this…
I have received everything from this company but great, outstanding, caring customer service. My service coordinator would not let me talk until she said her peace by then my phone died. My wife still does not have any help. This is a medical benefit. Benefit was supposed to help me with stress on taking care of my wife but yet it's just added stress. Carelinx more like unCarelinx.
