Auto-renewal is the only way this company makes money. Their plans might save you a couple of dimes here and there, but by no means offer the savings they constantly brag about. It's always encouraging when a dentist - who Careington claims is in their network - says "What???" when you mention you're with the plan. For the most part, the plans are so worthless that people forget they even have them, until, BAM, auto-renewal hits. Then, of course, don't even get me started on the journey through Satan's mosh pit, aka customer service, in order to attempt to cancel the plan.

I purchased a dental insurance from them with them saying they we're aetna should have known the first simple extraction long story short I spent over 700 dollars and they not wanting to paid a measly 109 dollars I have had to pay over 300 dollars I really don't have I'm on disability and don't make much at all so please people I don't care what they tell you they will not pay your claims that ate clearly in there book all they are gonna do is let your bill run up then tell you they don't pay what is clearly there and you can aetna they have nothing to do with them call and see who will turn you down it won't be aetna,Careington will take you to the cleaners I hate to see anyone get messed around please tell them and other people to pass these people up save yourself it's Bradley E Story dropped you about a week and never recieved a I'm sorry or money on the way you just don't pay anything 0 nothing

Purchased a family plan after looking at the payment schedule they provided. There is a section called 'oral surgery' and lists procedures that only an oral surgeon, not a regular dentist, in New Jersey would perform. Total for exam, panoramic xrays and an easy tooth extraction with nitrous oxide (I thought is was going to be more complicated) should have cost around $200. Okay - So that is the 'average' with the discount they offer in my area. So why was I charged over $700? Because Careington say those prices are for a 'regular' dentist to perform those procedures. Why do they have Alveoloplasty, surgical removal of tooth roots, etc listed in their fee schedule for a regular dentist if regular dentists do NOT perform these procedures? SCAM!!!!! Beware of Careington plans. And if you go to a 'regular' dentist who will do special dental procedures like these, beware of them, too.

UNAUTHORIZED PLAN CANCELLATION First off, they lie about what providers are available in your area and list locations that don't exist yet. Then when you call to cancel they threaten to give you only a partial refund. I told them NOT to cancel so that I could research further and without notice I see partial refund to my PayPal account.

Very straight forward. This plan is exactly as advertised and helped me to get 50% off of all of the dental work Ive had done this year! I will certainly renew my membership and I recommend it to everyone I know.

The discounts listed when you type in the zip code seem appealing, but listed in small print below says that discounts vary from place to place. I'm pretty sure most other places only offer a 20% discount. I could've actually saved money from not purchasing this "discount plan" by paying up front. This is not actually "insurance", so if you're looking for something to help save on costs I would not suggest Careington. The discounts they display seem appealing when you type in your zip, but it's not actually what you're going to get. This company is targeting people with lower level income because they know you need work done right away and they know you will most likely purchase it because they make it seem like you will actually save on costs.

All I know is I needed to have a lot of extractions one plate and a partial plate l made sure where I was going excepted Carrington 500 before I purchased it and all I can say is I save $2500 dollars My total was $5900 Got a $219 discount from Aspen dental and then 2500 from Carrington my bottom line was $3100 got my money back and then some thank you for giving me my smile back And my representative Laura was awesome she told me exactly what my discounted price was going to be before I even got to the dentist office I don’t know about other Dental procedures but if you’re looking to get dentures and have to have extractions it’s definitely the way to go And because of it I was able to afford a better product with a better warranty I think you’re awesome thank you

Even the providers that say they take the plan said that there is no discount with or without it.
