The driver called me at 6:56AM and said he would be there in an hour which he arrived on time. I had the car in a location easy for pickup. He showed me what to do on the title, and away it went. Nice guy Sam. I asked If he ever experienced a tearful goodbye. He told me that he picked up a minivan, the two kids were crying, the mother was tearful and the dog jumped in the van and wouldn't get out!

Professional pick up, on time notifications

Capital Auto was outstanding from the very first time they called to schedule a pickup time for my vehicles. Initially they only had documents for one vehicle, after I informed them that there was supposed to be two vehicles to be picked up. Capital Auto listen to my concern, they check and called me back with a date for pickup of both vehicles. Capital Auto Driver, Jose, notified me the night before pickup of his arrival time. The next morning Jose confirmed his exact time of his arrival and I was able to go to work without waiting all day. Jose was professional, knowledgeable and polite.

Very accommodating and very easy to work with. We had to change the pick up date and there was no problem in doing so. The pick up went very well and the driver really knew his stuff. The car was in a side pocket in my driveway and the driver backed his tow truck in beautifully and extracted the car without any problems. He is a real pro.

I’ve donated few vehicles before but the Capital Auction is the best yet. Other companies wanted my SSN which tells me that I been fooled. Anyway I really thank the driver who picked up my pick up truck. I completely forgot about the garage door opener and he putted in the mail box with the receipt. Really appreciated!

They answered all my questions in a timely manner. Driver of rollback was on time, worked efficiently, and friendly. It was hard to give up the truck, but I know my donation would help others in need.

Purchased a vehicle after winning a bid and Negotiating an "if" sale. Wired funds. They accepted funds. We sent requested documents to process title transfer. Discovered that there was a trim discrepancy- they had advertised a trim worth thousands more than the trim that matched the VIN. They sent their mechanic to verify. Yes they misrepresented trim. We asked if they would adjust the price or waive auction fees for the diminished value. They refused either method of remedy. They insisted that they would refund our money as our only option of remedy. They started charging storage on our vehicle. We said we were accepting the vehicle but would not waive our rights to pursue remedies for the material misrepresentation. They said fine, auto transport needs to show bill of lading and vin to pick up. We send transport with documents specified. They tell transport they need a stock number not the bill of sale with Vin, bill of lading with vin and authorization to release to transport showing vin and stock number. We supply inflation again. They turn transport away again after hour olus of waiting, for a total three times on three separate days denying access to the vehicle for transport or inspection. They change the auction listing. They refuse to release paid in full vehicle with paid in full storage. They still insist on refunding the money with us waiving our legal rights, we believe to hide their material misrepresentation- which is a statutory violation. Anyone who can count the total number of potential statutory violations here gets a gold star... Bottom Line, deceptive business practices, bad faith, and coercion by holding title hostage. 100% do not recommend Capital Auto Auctions at 5135 Bleigh Ave Philadelphia PA 19136 Their response below says "glad we came to a resolution" This is false. There has been no resolution and they are facing an attorney general investigation, a PennDOT complaint, and a lawsuit.
