Quality items, but velvet colors did not match.
The price was excellent and the items were of good quality. It looks like the hood and gown are from different manufacturers or made at different times. The light blue velvet on the gown was much lighter than that on the hood. The hood's velvet was richer and vibrant.

SOE Doctoral Gown
The SOE doctoral gown that I ordered is beautifully made. The quality and design is top notch. I took a star because I had to contact Cap and Gown direct when my gown didn't arrive after the expected delivery date. I waa told that my gown was on back order. It waa in stock when I ordered according to the website. After my second correspondence I was informed that my gown would ship once I provided a new "must receive by" date. I received the gown by the new date. Thank you, Cap and Gown direct. Yes, I would recommend them and order from them again.

Gown says 200+
Gown says 200+. It won't zip. Need to add bigger sizes. Otherwise everything's good. Thankfully I'm a seamstress and I can revamp the gown to fit.

Quality Product
The hood and gown that I ordered seem to be very quality products. However, delivery did not arrive on the dates as communicated.

The gown is beautiful
The gown is beautiful. The button on the back came off when I tried it on.
