I used Came-Ro for my move from London to Hamburg. It was a HORRENDOUS experience. It took 2 months for my goods to be delivered. During this time I wasn’t given any updates, i.e. had no clue where my belonging were. Following my requests for updates I was given various estimated delivery dates, but none of them were met. I also had asked to be notified of the delivery date a few days in advance as we are still in temporary accommodation and don’t yet live at the delivery address. Despite this, one Thursday late afternoon I received an email that the goods would be delivered the next day!!! I don’t want to go into any more detail (and a lot more happened, including me getting shouted at by Came-Ro office staff… I’m just going to repeat what other clients have already said. BE WARNED. Moving house is stressful enough. Don’t make it worse by using Came-Ro.

My experience with CameRo has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. My shipment was delayed by over a month compared to the original estimated delivery date. When the van doors were opened upon arrival, the condition of my belongings was shocking. My expensive Italian designer sofa was not properly wrapped as explicitly requested and agreed. Instead, it was only partially covered with a dirty blanket and loaded with boxes, bikes, and chairs placed directly on top of it. It arrived stained and structurally damaged. Several boxes were crushed and bent out of shape. One clearly marked “FRAGILE” had fallen over. My TV box was transported unsecured at an angle instead of upright or flat, increasing the risk of damage to the screen. Directional arrow markings on multiple boxes were ignored entirely. To be clear, I do not blame the driver personally. He informed me the van had been poorly packed at the depot and mentioned he had been awake for 26 hours before delivery — something that is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the company’s operational standards. The issues continued with the claims process. Despite purchasing Enhanced Standard Liability coverage up to £8,000 and agreeing the sofa was covered for £3,250 (its discounted used value), we were initially offered just £50 for the damaged sofa. After a long and exhausting back-and-forth, this was increased to £230 — which is still pennies compared to the sofa’s actual value, the declared coverage amount, and the insurance purchased. The replacement cover alone costs close to £2,900, making the offer feel not only inadequate but disrespectful.

Steer well clear of this company if something goes wrong and they damage your stuff they will continuously fall back on their “terms and conditions” neglecting the fact that a companies t&c don’t trump UK law. They also hide negative reviews on google consistently and I was forced to take legal action in order to get a necessary refund. Absolute crooks.

Poor service overall. On collection day, there were supposed to be two men, but only one came, with two others arriving at the end when only one bed was left to be loaded. It took quite a while for the goods to arrive (24 working days). On arrival, only one man was delivering the goods when I specifically asked for help. All our mattresses were stained, and one of them was even torn. One bed frame was also chipped. Would not recommend Came Ro.

Run very far away. The two removal guys tried to pressure me into paying extra fees for a first floor flat, despite having already negotiated a price with head office that included the first floor. Next, my items were unexpectedly shipped to Spain, despite my wish to keep in storage in the UK, as discussed with head office. When I was finally ready to have my items delivered to portugal, several delivery dates were missed on account of illness in the office staff. Ok, no problem, I am understanding. But THEN MY MATTRESS DID NOT COME. I have pictures of it from the storage warehouse, they literally forgot to include it with the main body of the shipment. Will this issue be resolved? Absolutely not. Sheer incompetence at every level. Paid very good money for the service. Regret it.

Just awful do not use this Company We booked removal for the 9th December 24 they queried the amount of goods but still put it all in van to transport from Spain to UK They did not come out to give us a quote and all I had was a previous quote who quoted for 10 cubic meters how I wished I has used them Next thing we know the van was in Portugal they decided to do another job and offloaded our goods into another van They should have arrived on 12th December but we didnt receive our furniture till 15th December So spent 3 nights on the floor with no furniture. We are both pensioners and find the handling of this appalling Julie was all smiles when first got the quote then did a dissappearing act And when furniture did eventually arrive our brand new tv had a cracked screen I would never use this Company again and how they sleep at night is beyond me they have no conscience Despite paying over £350 for a new tv they only offered us £40 What a shambles They are not registered with any Removal Associations either so noone to complain to. Please dont suffer the stress and trauma we did use someone else you have been warned

Everything was fine until they got paid. Then while on the road to our new location, tried to get more money from us claiming we had more goods, cubic meters. Very perfidious way of doing business. Do yourself a favor and hire literally any other moving company. All of their positive reviews are similarly vague, and praise the problematic person at the company....seemingly self authored?
