Disgusting service. They have taken several payments for one week trial. It’s impossible to cancel and then they charge another fee direct to PayPal. Avoid!

Calmio charges you involuntarily, in a few ways
This place is a rip-off. You will incur more anxiety by trying to deal with their payment systems than their supposed treatments will ever absolve you of.
First, in ApplePay, in the process of undergoing the evaluation, it's not clear when you subscribe. I didn't think I'd subscribed -- just come close -- when apparently I had.
Second, if they think you have subscribed, they make it borderline impossible to try to cancel. I have been trying to cancel ever since the first Calmio charge appeared on my credit card, but they never respond to emails and it can be hard, even impossible, to login to your account if you don't use the same email on ApplePay as you use day-to-day.
Third, after they ignore your repeated emails asking to cancel because you cannot login to press the "cancel" button, and you eventually manage to login and cancel, they continue to charge your credit card! I have a cancellation confirmation email from them from over two months ago (I'd been emailing them months before that to try to cancel). And then TWO MORE recurring charges appeared on my credit card! Even after they confirmed cancellation in writing.
This is a clear pattern of behavior that shows bad faith on the part of this business. If you have any other option for this service, use it instead, and avoid this nightmare. This is worse than a one-off mistake, and you should be aware of even exploring this app, as you might end up subscribing by accident and wasting hours of your life trying to undo an unwitting mistake.

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to write this out in detail — and I'm genuinely sorry. What you're describing is not the experience I want anyone to have with Calmio, and reading it back, every part of it points to failures on our side: an unclear subscription flow on Apple Pay, support emails that went unanswered, login friction when the Apple Pay email doesn't match the account email, and — most seriously — charges continuing after we'd already confirmed your cancellation in writing. None of that is acceptable, and I'm not going to try to explain it away.
We never ignore or ghost our customers on purpose, so somewhere in this case there was a clear error on our side, and I want to make it right — refund the charges that came after your cancellation confirmation, look into why your emails weren't getting through, and learn from what happened here. I'm working on our customer support and billing flows every day, and reviews like yours are exactly the kind of feedback that pushes me to do better.
Please contact us directly at [email protected] and include the reference code CM-91528 in your message so I can pull up your case personally, refund the incorrect charges, and make things right for you.

i made payment by visa card, the payment has come out of my account but the page closed by itself when reloading, i have not recieved any email of my results from the questions asked, i also have not recieved any email giving instructions for downloading the app, yet payment has been made. i want what i have paid for or a refund.
Response from CalmioMay 27, 2026
We’re very sorry for the frustration and confusion this caused.
What you described can sometimes happen if a different email address was entered during checkout or if the payment provider automatically prefilled an email address you may no longer use. Because of this, the access and download emails may have been sent to a different inbox.
Please contact us at [email protected] and our team will treat this as a priority to help locate your account and fully resolve the issue for you as quickly as possible.
We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience and look forward to helping you sort this out.

Very poor customer service
So partially my fault. I thought that this app was part of another product that I've seen out on the market before which after signing up and going through that process I found out was not. I was charged 44.99 for the 3-month special or package. Once I went through that process I realized that it was not what I thought it was or expected it to be and immediately got in contact with customer service. Did the cancel my account process and took on a second job of continuing to try to get a hold of customer service, Explain my situation and have them refund my purchase price as I never even used the app or created a profile. My customer service agent after a handful of emails to try to get back in touch with her so that they were going to refund me $29.99, not even the full purchase price and I never saw that go back into my account. I've reached out two to three more times since then and still have yet to receive a response. I have no idea if the product works or is good but this right here solidifies that I will never attempt to go through them again. Borderline scam if you asked me.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Jason, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment this situation caused.
After reviewing your case internally, we found that there was a misunderstanding regarding your refund, and we completely understand why that left you feeling upset — especially after having to reach out multiple times without getting the clarity you deserved.
We want to assure you that Calmio is a legitimate service run by a small team of real people who genuinely care about helping others, and in this case we simply made a human error in how your request was handled. We take full responsibility for that.
Your full refund of $44.99 has now been processed back to your original payment method, and depending on your bank, it may take a few business days to appear.
We sincerely apologize again for the experience you had and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Conversations like this help us improve both our support process and communication moving forward.

Auto renewals
Double charged, auto renewals, no way to cancel or get refund

Reading your review, I completely understand how upsetting it must have felt to experience unexpected renewal charges and then feel like there was no clear way to resolve the issue. That’s never the experience we want anyone to have with Calmio.
We absolutely do not want any customer to feel trapped in a subscription or unable to get support. If you were double charged or had trouble cancelling, then something clearly went wrong on our side, and I want to personally look into this for you.

They don’t honor their 14 day money back guarantee
They claimed to offer a 14 day money back guarantee if you don’t like the app. I used it for seven days, canceled my membership, had a couple emails with customer service and when I asked them for my money back, they’ve completely ghosted me

App not ready for deployment, don't buy in
The app itself was very helpful, unfortunately on day 5 it was inaccessible, crashed upon opening and could not be opened again after that. In my opinion the app is not ready for deployment yet. Requests for refund are being ignored.
Response from CalmioMay 6, 2026
We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, and especially that your email appeared to go unanswered. Our customer support officer has now contacted you directly to make things right.
Unfortunately, there are rare cases where emails can be blocked, filtered, or end up in spam folders without us realizing it, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this caused.
We’re also very sorry for the technical issues you experienced with the app. We completely understand how disappointing that must have been, especially after finding the experience helpful initially. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us as we continue improving Calmio.
To make this right, we will be issuing you a full refund.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, and again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Dont do it, not worth it, very little content or function
I was really disappointed with this app. The lessons are extremely short and often ask you to take action without giving enough context or explanation about why that action matters. It feels overly condensed—like it was generated quickly and stripped down to the point where it loses clarity and usefulness.
For the price, there just isn’t enough depth, guidance, or meaningful content. Instead of focusing on delivering value, it feels like more effort went into upselling additional features than actually building a helpful product.
The AI chat feature didn’t work for me at all—it just stayed stuck on loading dots, which made it completely unusable. On top of that, their refund policy requires you to use the app for a certain period of time, which feels misleading. Definitely something to be aware of before purchasing.
Overall, this felt like a money grab. I’d much rather spend money on an app that actually provides clear insights and guidance. I’m also annoyed that they advertise 4.9/5 trust pilot rating on their ad and then when you come look its 3.9 - super shady
Response from CalmioMay 6, 2026
We understand your frustration regarding the lesson depth, the AI chat loading issue, and the overall experience you described. Creating content that feels both accessible and genuinely valuable is something we care deeply about, and feedback like yours helps us understand where we still need to improve.
We’re especially sorry that the AI chat feature did not function properly for you. That is absolutely not the experience we aim to provide, and our technical team is continuously working to improve app stability and performance.
Regarding our refund policy, we understand your concerns. The usage requirement exists to help prevent abuse of digital products that provide immediate full access, but we recognize that policies can still feel frustrating when someone has had a disappointing experience.
We also want to clarify that ratings displayed in advertisements can sometimes reflect a snapshot from a specific point in time and may differ as new reviews are published. We never intend to mislead users, and we appreciate you raising this concern.
Please contact us directly at [email protected] and include the reference code CM-84721 in your message so our team can review your case personally and make things right for you.
We’re genuinely sorry that Calmio left you feeling disappointed, and we appreciate the honest feedback you’ve shared.
