Hi Donna,
My name is Rosh, one of the support staff here at Call-on-Doc. We're truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment you’ve experienced.
We understand your concerns regarding the consultation. Please know that our provider’s recommendation was made with your safety as the top priority, because restarting at a high dose after being off the medication for longer than 1 month can lead to severe health problems.
Your request to cancel and receive a refund has been acknowledged and escalated to our billing team for priority handling. Just a heads up, processing may take up to 24 hours due to bank policies, but please be assured that this is actively being worked on. You will receive a confirmation via email as soon as the refund has been completed.
We take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve both our communication and service processes moving forward.
We also reached out to you through the messaging board in case you need anything further. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to message us anytime:

We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve your experience.

This operation is a scam in my opinion
This operation is a scam in my opinion, if you're looking for a diagnosis stay away. If you want to pay for someone to write you a prescription for something you self diagnose, you found it.

Our service is designed primarily as an asynchronous (message-based) consultation, where a licensed medical provider reviews the information submitted and determines an appropriate treatment plan based on those details.
Your concern has been escalated to our medical experts for review.

I kindly asked if I could get a doctor's note to stay at home for 5 days instead of 3 because I know my body and how long it takes me to feel better. They refused. I wasnt ready to return to work in the 3 days and was let go because I did not have a note for 5 days. Thanks for nothing.

Hi Dorothy,
My name is Rosh, one of the support staff here at Call-on-Doc. Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and the stress this situation caused, especially given the impact it had on your work.
We understand your request for additional recovery time and respect that you know your body and what you need to feel better. We regret that our communication was not clearer from the beginning regarding the limitations of our telemedicine providers. Unfortunately, as a telehealth service, we are limited to medical notes we can provide. We can only provide an excuse note for a maximum of 3 days starting from the date you were under our care. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or mixed messaging this caused.
We also understand how frustrating and disappointing this outcome must have been for you. Your experience does not reflect the level of clarity and consistency we aim to provide, and we will be reviewing this internally to help prevent similar situations in the future.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are truly sorry for the inconvenience and hardship this caused. If there is anything further we can do to assist or if you would like to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly through our messaging board, which you can access here:

(My Account > My Profile > Messages)
Your experience is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and again, we’re truly sorry for your experience.
We hope to have the chance to serve you better in the future.

What a horrible experience
What a horrible experience.
My son tested positive for Flu B. My regular telehealth company was experiencing issues, so I looked up well-reviewed places. Call on doc said they had good reviews. I wish I'd looked into it more, since they're already flagged as using reviews incorrectly.
Anyway, I reached out on March 16th. It said $40 for an appt, but then it was randomly $50, they wanted I believe $10 for a school note and $20 for a virtual visit. I couldn't afford any of it, just the $40 I thought it was. I borrowed because it's by child.
There was no communication, and no note, just a prescription for amoxicillin. Am antibiotic for a virus. I brought this up, questioning why this would happen. I said the only reason I can think of is a secondary sinus infection. No one confirmed, they only talked about the flu, how it was too late for Tamiflu (that I never asked about bc I knew it was too late), and basically talked about anything but the diagnosis or the answer to my question.
I asked about the note. They said they can only do 5 days for a flu or COVID dx. The dates I needed were:
03/11/2026, 03/12/2026, 03/13/2026, 03/15/2026, & 03/16/2026.
Can anyone tell me how many days that is? Because I count 5, while they told me 6 days. They then erroneously added the 17th, which I already agreed to skipping due to the 5 day rule. From the 16th until today, the 19th, they argued simple math. Finally, this morning, I get it. Sent off to the school, and they covered the 17th for me.
Furious at the "service" (laughable) I received, I asked for a refund. Because of the constant arguments, I made it quite clear that I wanted a refund and NOT a credit. Because I already knew. I even asked for 50%, not even full reimbursement, because I did get a note.
Oh, and I've been sick myself, throwing up, feverish, and weak, which they knew. And they gave me the worst time.
They said they'd send my request to the billing team, and I'd hear back in 48+ hours. Lol, no. THEN THEY CALLED MY SON BY THE WRONG NAME and totally ignored the fact that I'd said he had returned to school.
I can only presume there's no "billing team" (smaller businesses tend to bluff about getting a manager, sending info to a department that doesn't exist, etc). The NP, Natalie Pashia, came back, word vomited everything I said like it was an original thought, and denied the refund. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Oh, and "Rosh", whomever you actually are, don't waste your response. It's fake. I've gotten more sorries than answers.
What they didn't know until recently, was that I worked telehealth. I know their lies, what they can see, and so on. Sure, it's different system to system, but not that much.
Disgusted, infuriated, disappointed. All they do is ignore what you ask so they can word vomit some total nonsense. Nonsense that is totally unrelated to what you asked.
I also suspect all of these "great" reviews are total BS, done by employees or paid contractors through places like Upwork.

Submitted a visit for strep throat as…
Submitted a visit for strep throat as I’ve done in the past (no photos ever submitted) at 4:14pm. Received a message from the provider a little after 5 stating she must have photos. I explained I’ve never submitted photos for this type of visit, we have other children in the household with it, etc. She didn’t respond till almost an hour later (I responded right away) to tell me she needed them to make sure it wasn’t affecting his airway. I don’t know of a parent who would submit an online visit if their child’s airway was affected. I explained more than once our pharmacy closed at 7 as did our urgent care and I would have to travel to both (rural area) so I needed to know if she was not going to process the visit. Finally after almost an hour again of no response I submitted a request for a refund while the visit was still in the pending status to be told almost an hour later again that the provider was transmitting the rx so they couldn’t. This was at 6:54, I didn’t get a treatment plan till 7:15, pharmacy was already closed. Needless to say my son didn’t receive an antibiotic he needed because this was drug out, pharmacy was closed when the provider finally decided to send the prescription (no photos where ever submitted so she could have done this at 5pm when she first sent the message) and it was to late to travel to the urgent care as they where also closed. Very very terrible customer service!! If one provider will process with no photos they all should.

Hi Paula,
My name is Rosh, one of the support staff here at Call-on-Doc. Thank you for sharing your experience. We truly understand your concerns and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by recent delays.
We’re truly sorry for the frustrating experience you had while trying to get care for your son. We understand how stressful it can be when a child is sick, especially when you are working within limited pharmacy and urgent care hours in a rural area. The delays and back-and-forth during your consultation were not the experience we want for our patients.
Our providers sometimes request photos during certain visits to help ensure a safe and accurate assessment, particularly when evaluating throat infections in children. That said, we understand how the request felt inconsistent with your past visits, and we’re sorry that this caused confusion and contributed to delays in your son receiving treatment.
We are reviewing this case internally to improve how we communicate requirements and handle time-sensitive situations like this.
We also reached out to you through the messaging board in case you need anything further.
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to message us anytime:

We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve the care and service we provide to families like yours.

Just a scam really.
There was no clear communication that it’d be all text. There was no clear instruction as how to wait for the visit and that did have t be online for almost four hours. I have still not received her school excuse and the meds they prescribed aren’t available at our pharmacy. It was pretty much a scam . You get 40 for a visit/ chat. I get to pay 20 extra for a school note ? That I don’t even get because no one can respond or understand the simplicity of dates.
Response from CallonDocMar 12, 2026
Hi Gwen,
My name is Rosh, one of the support staff here at Call-on-Doc. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and confusion you encountered during your consultation. We understand how stressful it can be when your child is not feeling well, and we regret that the process felt unclear and took longer than expected.
Please note that most visits are asynchronous (text/form visits). Our providers do reach out to our patients via text, email, or messaging board if the information in the form is not sufficient for the evaluation. Otherwise, an evaluation will be completed and a prescription will be sent to the pharmacy right away. We understand that this may not have been clearly explained beforehand, and we’re sorry for any confusion this caused while you were waiting for updates.
We also apologize for the delay in sending your child’s school excuse note and for the repeated requests to confirm the dates. We understand how frustrating that must have been, especially while you were waiting late at night for confirmation.
Regarding the medication prescribed, if your selected pharmacy does not currently have it in stock, you may check with other pharmacies in your area to see if they have the medication available. Once you confirm a pharmacy that has the medication in stock, please send us the pharmacy name, full address (including ZIP code), and contact number, and we will be happy to assist with transferring the prescription. If you prefer, you may also let us know and we can ask the provider to review and consider an alternative prescription if appropriate.
We also reached out to you through the messaging board in case you need anything further.
If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to message us anytime:

Company is a rip off
Company is a rip off. refilling a replacement script requires a new consult session. the way they treat their “patients” is nothing more than finding a way to overcharge and rip them off
Response from CallonDocMar 5, 2026
Hi Andrew,
This is Rosh, one of the support staff here at Call-On-Doc.
We’re sorry to hear about your frustration and appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
When medications are reported as lost, misplaced, or discarded, our team is generally required to follow a standard safety policy that requires a new consultation before issuing additional prescriptions. This policy is in place to ensure that any medication requests are reviewed by a licensed medical provider and remain medically appropriate.
In your case, once your concern was escalated to our medical provider for review, they were able to approve a courtesy replacement prescription, and the rx was resent to your pharmacy the same day so you could continue your treatment without interruption.
We understand the situation was frustrating, especially while you were trying to resolve the missing medication, and we apologize that the process felt unclear or delayed. Your feedback is important and helps us continue improving how we communicate options to patients in situations like this.
If there is anything further we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.

False advertising
I tried CallonDoc because they advertise a prescription within 1-2 hours unless you pay for a 15 minute expedited start to finish visit. This was for a GLP-1. I have a qualifying BMI with a weight related condition. This was never asked and I did not get to speak or chat with a provider. Not only did I not get a response until 8 hours later, I was denied with a message recommending micro dosing through one of their partner pharmacies. This is sketchy since I had requested a prescription sent elsewhere if approved. Prices have gone up here from $0 for compassionate care to now $75 according to other users just in the last year and it seems they are now pushing their partner pharmacies. Prospective users of this telehealth platform should beware. I gave feedback and never received an apology for having an awful experience. That shows you how much they care. I would never use this company again nor would I recommend it. They even advertise on their site that they have a 4.9 rating on Trustpilot and since you're here you can see for yourself how honest they are!
Update:
Unfortunately the optics of this immediate PR reply in a public platform only adds to my disappointing experience. I would have preferred the same level of communication and equally timely response through the private messaging channel I used via my account, however, it was crickets there from customer service. I have a CallonDoc account and don’t appreciate the insinuation that I wasn’t a real patient because I can’t be found in the system. This is another pretty bad move to publicly gaslight my experience. I hope future patients receive more transparent communication and a higher level of care. I have chosen another telehealth platform.
Response from CallonDocMar 2, 2026
Hello AW,
This is Rosh, one of the support staff here at Call-On-Doc.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment you encountered during your recent visit.
We understand that our advertised response time set an expectation, and we are truly sorry that your consultation did not meet that standard. An 8-hour delay—especially when you were expecting a 1–2 hour turnaround—is not the experience we aim to provide.
I also apologize for the lack of direct communication with a provider and for any confusion surrounding the clinical review process. While eligibility for GLP-1 medications is determined based on medical guidelines and provider discretion, we understand how frustrating it must have felt not to have the opportunity to discuss your qualifying BMI and weight-related condition more thoroughly.
Regarding the pharmacy recommendation, I’m sorry if this came across as pushy or misleading. Our intent is never to steer patients in a direction that feels uncomfortable or contrary to their request. Your preference for where a prescription is sent should always be respected when clinically appropriate.
We also regret that you did not receive a follow-up response after submitting feedback. That is not reflective of the level of care and accountability we strive to provide.
Your experience highlights areas where we clearly need to improve—particularly around communication, response times, and clarity in our process. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
If you are open to it, we would welcome the opportunity to review your case again and address your concerns directly. We attempted to locate your account based on the details available but were unable to find it in our system. We would appreciate it if you could reach out to us directly through our messaging board, which you can access here:
https://www.callondoc.com/en/chat-supports (My Account > My Profile > Messages)
We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not reflect the standards we work hard to uphold. Your experience is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We hope to have the chance to serve you better in the future.

Hello A W,
My name is Kaye, one of the support staff at CallonDoc. I’m truly sorry to hear that this experience left you feeling unheard — that is never the impression we want to give.
When we saw your review, we responded promptly and used Trustpilot’s “Request More Information” option so we could securely gather the details needed to locate and review your account. Because reviews only display limited information, we’re unable to access a patient record without additional identifying details for privacy and security reasons.
At this time, we have not yet received the requested information, which has prevented us from fully investigating your concern. Our intention was never to imply that you were not a patient, and we sincerely apologize if our effort to clarify came across that way.
We genuinely care about transparency and timely communication, and we remain more than willing to review your case thoroughly. If you’re open to it, please respond to our request through Trustpilot or message us directly through your patient portal (My Account > My Profile > Messages), and we’ll prioritize your case right away.
We truly wish you the best and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving.
