I was a little skeptical but was also a bit desperate for help with my issue. Primary Dr had misdiagnosed my issue and I couldn't see them again for quite a few days. So I used callondoc. Process was so easy. Uploaded a few pics and answered some questions. 25 minutes after paying and submitting my issue I received a text from CVS saying they were preparing 2 scripts for me. 2 hours later I began treatment. 25 minutes. You really cant beat that. Plus the price was far cheaper than visiting my primary.

This has been a revolutionary way for me to get my medication. I don't like going to Dr's offices, dealing with their rude staffs, and waiting 3 weeks for an appointment. I've used CallonDoc.com 4x, twice for sinus infection and strep. Got antibiotics fast called into my local drug store. Then also used their lab option and found out I had high uric acid. They called me in a prescription for it too. Things got better. I like their fast/friendly service as well.

I had been feeling poorly and tried to rest & self-medicate with tea & vitamins over the weekend only to wake up unable to swallow and with a fever & sweats on a workday. Last time this happened it was strep throat so I went online to research options and found this provider. I have insurance but it sucks and the closest office is 5 miles away which means missing work (I am remote) as well as wait time and often a high office copay of around $75. I don't know why all the bad reviews--I had a fantastic experience and I would use them again. I was concerned about RX costs thinking maybe that was the "catch"--but they will let you use your insurance RX or provide you with a lower cost card program you can use if uninsured. I had an answer within the hour and my RX within 3 so I got to start them today & should be heading towards recovery. I only missed an hour total from work for the consult input and to get my RX. I think the key is to give them truthful info and LOTS of it. I also took a photo of my throat and sent it---not realizing I had white spots! The doctor saw what I did and even prescribed an extra item to assist with the difficulty swallowing which I appreciate. I specified the antibiotic type due to prior issues with a mainstream one and they had no issue with that. I think the more info you give them (medical history, truthful answers about other RX & current health, and photos if possible), the better and easier it is for the doctor and the more confidence the doctor has you are giving them all the needed info. They don't script narcotics (so no codeine syrup which is a bit aggravating, but I understand why) for pain but I can always follow up with my regular PCP if things don't improve. I would recommend them esp if you have a good idea what might be wrong and are willing to send photos or evidence for them to consider to reach the right diagnosis and medications.
