This CallonDoc is really an outstanding service! I’ll be honest I had doubts bcoz of the reviews but my abscess decided we needed to try it and to my pleasant surprise this service works exactly as advertised actually in my case I had antibiotics called in under an hour. I am very happy that something like this exists. I saved myself hours and hours not going to urgent care. I’ll still need to see my regular dentist but this service has definitely helped me today. I really almost didn’t try bcoz of the reviews about this place but I’m really glad I took a chance and can start my journey to recovery.

I’ve used CallonDoc countless times for basic things that require antibiotics, and for that? Chef’s kiss—perfection. But recently, I took the plunge and signed up for their membership program to start Wegovy, and let me tell you—it’s been a rollercoaster. Buckle up. First I use the website version, not the app, and I’ve never had any issues. The process? Seamless. The doctor reviewed my request and called in my prescription within a couple of hours. Fast, easy, no drama. If CallonDoc were just about the medical side, I’d be singing their praises from the rooftops.But customer service? Oh Lord customer service is a disaster. Getting a prior authorization (PA) was a grueling test of patience that made me feel like I was trapped in a never-ending loop of “please hold” and nonsense excuses. And the cherry on top? The PA took TWO WEEKS to process—which is absurd, considering part of the reason for paying a membership fee is to avoid these kinds of delays. I think they contract out to Nigeria or something...Because I felt like the customer service had no idea what they were doing..Some of the excuses regarding insurance error codes didn't even exist..If the PA only saved me a few bucks, I wouldn’t have cared. BUT WEGOVY IS STUPIDLY EXPENSIVE, EVEN WITH INSURANCE. CallonDoc fumbled the PA submission multiple times, then tried to blame my insurance, saying they got a “no member found” error. (Uh, sure, Jan.) In reality, I think they were just stalling to make sure my insurance covered the medication before bothering to send it in. This little stunt delayed my prescription by an extra four days. If I had to rate CallonDoc’s customer service alone? One star. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. But when I step back and compare the entire experience to other telehealth platforms, I begrudgingly have to admit it’s still one of the best options out there. Even with the PA headache, CallonDoc is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than other providers offering Wegovy. It costs $45 every 3 months plus $15 per visit. Every other program I looked at? Hundreds of dollars. Some providers in my network (check my other reviews) didn’t even bother having me meet with a doctor before billing my insurance close to $1K. For basic things like ear infections, colds, or anything that doesn’t require a PA? CallonDoc is fantastic. I get recurring ear infections a few times a year (I’ve already ruled out other causes with my PCM), and antibiotics always fix the issue. Instead of wasting time sitting in a waiting room or getting charged ridiculous fees, I can just fill out a form and move on with my life. Would I use CallonDoc again? Yes, Even though the customer service is horrible when you measure everything together, callondoc is still better than the competition..But If you need prior authorization, brace yourself—it’s gonna be a journey.

Woke in the a.m. with gum pain which turned into an abscess pretty quick. My dentist office told me the soonest appt was over 7 days away. They suggested urgent care for meds. I opted for CallonDoc as it was convenient, quick, and no waiting at an urgent care wasting my time and commingling with the ill getting sick with who knows what. It cost a bit more than an urgent care visit( with my insurance) but I decided convenience, health safety, and speed was more important. The form was easy to fill out and a script was called into my local pharmacy within an hour of my submission. Very pleased indeed and now their app is on my phone. Such a great convenience and life saver. Thanks!

I've used them twice so far in the past few months and each time have had my prescription within a few hours. Much faster and more efficient than having to schedule a doctor's appointment and wait days for a resolution!
