I tried many times over the last couple of months to terminate this service by using the merchant’s online cancelation without any success. Today I got billed again with $96 and a few minutes later with $72. I chatted with their online support for more than 40 min, explaining that their own cancellation functionality is broken for months and instead of helping me cancel my account and refund me they did everything they can to block me from leaving. I have screenshots with that chat and captured a video showing how impossible is to cancel with them. Considering all this, it's clear to me that CallHippo and the company behind - Bueno Technologies Inc are pure scum and you must stay away!

This company is the biggest scam I have ever seen. I signed up for the Annual $14.00 A Month plan which should have not been Over $168.00 upon checkout they billed me $698.00. This is the worst company ever and just another Indian Based scam! People do not trust these people we have filed reports with Icann and with all the app store to get their stuff removed for scamming Practices. Do not fall for their sneaky practices. and even if they tell you the right price I would never give them my card numbers. Be here warned! Finally after they took my money and lots of time has went by they send a message saying they can not find me in their data base! Wow What a reply. You people took my money and I have no problem providing Trust Pilot with proof you then gave me nothing! Your scammers!

I should've seen the red flag when the online reviews were so bad. Don't make the same mistake I did! CallHippo is totally unreliable. First, BE CAREFUL of their sneaky pricing schemes - The cheapest one will show up as x2 b/c they have a sneaky minimum user limit. THEN On the first day, I sent over all my documents and customer service told me that my number was active. So naturally, I sent it to multiple clients... only to find out 3 weeks later that it wasn't working. CallHippo REFUSED to refund for the first month even though their service was inactive AND they auto-charged for the second month, even though I never consented to an auto-charge of any sort. Naturally, I want my account cancelled. After a week of back-and-forth emails (seriously?! to cancel an account?), I'm finally free of CallHippo but they refused to refund for 1st mo when nothing was working nor the 2nd mo even though I cancelled on Day 1. Just a horrible experience. Avoid - there are better VoIPs out there.

Clunky and poor quality. Struggled to get a refund when they charged my card. Ended up getting my bank involved. Just use virtual landline and learn from my mistake.

The numbers in use are spammy. The support is on auto-pilot. If you ask a question which is not in their script, they will not respond.

These guys are scammers. We used the service for a year, which was fine, but them when we tried to cancel the account because we no longer needed it, they would not let us, and even charged us for things that we had not paid for. I sent 5 emails asking to cancel and was called three times, each time saying they would cancel the account, but never did.

Been with them for 3+ years. They started out really great. Lately they've become terrible. Won't refund fraudulently taken money (Oh, yes, our agent told you about that charge...") and a number stopped working. 2 phone messages (never pick up their phone), 3 emails, a promise to screenshare, NOTHING. Absolutely horrible company - avoid if you don't want to be screwed over.

The company promised us a working virtual number and did not deliver and asked for random documents they did not ask for before. They also charged my credit card for the full year even though we enrolled for a monthly trial. They are saying it was because we used their coupon that worked for their monthly payment. It was a misunderstanding on our side and the result is a full-year charge. I will be pressing charges in India, the EU, and the USA. They have no idea the kind of organization they messed with this time. For others coming along- DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM.
