I wanted to get a Peruvian virtual cell phone number. They assured me that I could. After I signed up they told me it's not possible. Refused to cancel and give refund. Had to do a chargeback twice showing proof. What a scam.

If I could rate this with zero starts I would. Most stressful crap in my life. 1. Asked to port in my number. They said it would take 2 weeks. Okay, that is fine. Took more than 2 weeks more like almost 2 months. Okay, whatever we cancelled and went back to our old line Grasshopper. Grasshopper is really great! 2. Wouldn't let go of my ported number. Complained complained complained. They kept giving me the runaround saying that they need to get this from some rep. SO JUST LETTING YOU KNOW THAT CHAT IS USELESS, THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU. 3. Said that they would cancel my account. Didn't tell me that I need to fill out a form. 4. Months later thinking everything was taken care of.... THEY ARE STILL TAKING OUT FROM MY ACCOUNT & I ONLY REALIZED IT 3 MONTHS DOWN THE LINE! 5. Went back for a refund. only gonna give me one month refund. Told me I didn't fill out some form even though I sent all the emails they asked me to. I totally went full on Karen. Worst company I've ever worked with. Do yourself a favor & USE ANY OTHER APP BESIDES CALLHIPPO.

I’m an year old subscriber and I have to say they support is very poor. I got an email saying that my subscription has been canceled and number released (I did not cancel the subscription) I got in touch with support they told me that they can reinstate the number but I’d have to get a new subscription with a new number and then they would update it to the old number on the backend, I got the new number (and paid $118 for an yearly subscription) After about 24 hours they changed the number to the old one. A day later I received an email from support to provide verification, despite being a verified customer. However I provided the verification and support responded that verification was successful but I still couldn’t access my account. So got in touch with support again. They said they will get back to me within 24 hours, 4 days later still no response. Got in touch with them again tonight and they said the same 24 hours thing. For anyone interested, I can share the support transcripts.

I don't see an option for 0 star because these people are not able to even talk to their client. The tell you to pay for power dialer but after you pay, they will keep you waiting for days and then tell you we need documents which you have already provided. They won't even tell what document they need. If you want to speak with them on phone, you have lost it already because they won't speak on phone. Definitely won't recommend.

SCAM! DONT BUY THEIR SERVICES! they sound very genuine at first, replying with live chat and stuff, but the service is very mediocre! the problem is not here, when i tried canceling my account and requesting a refund, NO RESPONSE! if the same thing happened to you, GO TO YOUR BANK ASAP and ask them to dispute the payment, you will 99% have your money back and block the card and get a new one so they cant take money from you

Do not make the mistake of doing business with this company. Not only did their product not provide the functionality indicated by thier salesperson they failed to cancel our account when we asked the salesperson who called us about a long term renewal. Suprised to see a charge for another year we contacted them immediately only to get the run-around by Customer Service and they haev refused to issue a refund for the renewal. We have given them every opportunity to do the right thing and they have refused every step of the way. We have reported them to PayPal and we are going to see if they issue us a refund before we file a Consumer Affairs complaint. Based on our experience, you can find a better company to do business with.

We signed up for call hippo, at first, everything seemed great. The team was very responsive and quick to action all my questions. Setup was complete and we paid a year subscription. Shortly after they were pushing me to write a review, I declined as I wanted to leave feedback once the system was operational. We had tremendous problems with call quality, no notifications from the app, low volume on calls and a host of other serious and non-serious issues. The team became dismissive of the issues and after troubleshooting for over 2 months, we made the decision to swap to another provider. Call hippo refuses to refund, even a pro rata amount of a whole year subscription. I could only describe their practises and predatory at best. I’m not surprised they get a number of good reviews, I believe it’s due to their aggressive and pushy nature to give them a review as soon as you sign up. They are not a member with the telecommunications ombudsman in Australia, so beware of resolving any dispute with this company. We paid up front over $1500 usd and we are disputing this with our bank as the company won’t resolve the complaint.

Absolutely disgusting. They will try to scam the last cent out of you. I would never write a review, but I am so pissed at them that I had to. Please don't trust these guys.
