Hi Peter, Thanks for your feedback, when this happens it means the call blocker has locked up/frozen. This is normally caused by information that it doesn't understand coming down the phone line. To resolve it, you just need to disconnect the line cable from the call blocker for 5-10 minutes and then reconnect it. Since I purchased and install CPR Call Blocker device. All spam calls, except a few spams, has somewhat being blocked.

Works quite well but you’ll need to call customer service for programming tips. This is quite true with cordless phones.

Terrific product. Continue to have trouble with it on a FIOS system; seems to work best in parallel mode. Pretty much the same difficulty as with the prior models. Blocks most calls - probably about 80% of the spam calls. Really like the feature that allows the system to hold the last 20 calls so that I can block them without having to unplug it from parallel. (Used to have to move the unit to the direct mode and then use the phone codes go block old numbers.) Wish the system allowed a link to my mobile phone so that I could easily transfer all my mobile spam to the house unit (I use them in parallel so that both the house and mobile phones ring concurrently - most of the spam on my mobile came from the house line.) Worth the 100 bucks.

It is good and works good but is hard to program following instruction. In standard setup mode there is no dial tone and in parallel set up mode is difficult to program. It has to be a better way, to develop easier programming way. Your's suggestion does not work.

Hi Stanley, Thank you for your feedback. The call blocker cannot be programmed in parallel set-up at all, only in the standard set-up. If you are not getting a dial tone in the standard set-up, then you will need to change the operating mode of the call blocker. To do this : 1. Pick up the phone as if you were going to get a dial tone. 2. Regardless of if you have a dial tone or not, press and hold the "Call List" button until you see the number 100 appear on the screen of the call blocker. You should then find that you will always get a dial tone immediately when you pick up the phone, and then you will be able to program the call blocker as well.
