I don't notice any difference then what I had. I am still getting calls that I just #2. I am still getting political and charity calls. So it is still to me pretty much the same.

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your feedback.
When you first install the call blocker it will only be blocking the numbers included on the pre-programmed list, any that aren't included on this list will still get through and would have to be blocked individually.
Depending on the type of calls you are receiving, you may benefit from activating some of the additional blocking features mentioned in the user guide to reduce the number of calls you are receiving.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything with us, please feel free to give us a call on 408-872-6822, we are available Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm EST.
Kind Regards,
George

Hi Frank,
Thanks for your feedback.
If you have the call blocker connected to a set of cordless phones, then you can block from your extension phones without having to get to the call blocker by answering the phone, dialling #2 and then hanging up the phone, this does the same thing as pressing the Block Now button.
You can also review the call list after you have received a call to see the 20 most recent numbers that have called you, once you see a number you want to block, you just press the "Block Now" button like you would if you were on the phone with the caller.
It is also possible to manually add numbers to the call blocker before they call you by using the programming code, you can do that as follows :
1. Get a dial tone on your phone.
2. Press and hold the "Block Now" button on the call blocker until you hear a beep on your phone.
3. Enter/dial this code into your phone - **7# full number to block #
4. Hang up the phone.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions or need any assistance, we can be reached on 408-872-6822 (Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm EST).
Kind Regards,
George

I was impressed that I noticed a reduction in calls coming in right away. My only negative is that the unit I bought ( V5000) does not include the "Allow List".

Hi Edward,
Thanks for your feedback.
We're pleased to hear that you are happy with your new call blocker.
The only model we offer that has the whitelist/allow list feature is the V10000. We are currently running a trade-in offer whereby you can send your existing call blocker back to us to get the V10000 at a reduced cost - you can find the details of this on our web-site.
Please do let us know if you have any questions or need any assistance in the future - we can be reached on 408-872-6822 (Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm EST).
Kind Regards,
George

Not worth the money
Not worth the money. I haven't seen any noticeable decrease in calls. I know that the spammers keep changing numbers, but i still get the same calls from the same numbers. I'm not sure you can get a better one but save your money and just ignore the calls. Anyone I know contacts me on my cell anyway. I just use the landline number when I have to supply a contact number.

Hi Clarence,
Thanks for your feedback.
As long as the call blocker is able to read your caller ID correctly, once you block a number, the only way that person can call you back is if they call you from another number.
If you need any assistance or have any questions or queries, please remember that we are here on 408-872-6822 (Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm EST).

This model required more technical assistance to operate than the other model.
I have had this model for several weeks. During that time I have had to have assistance from Tech Support, which they provided, in order to answer questions regarding operation, notably getting it to work in the first instance, getting blocked calls to stop ringing and how to block foreign countries or certain area codes. This model appears to be more complicated than I expected. Because of that I do not really care for this model and wished I had ordered the other model. I had one of those and it worked well.

Hi William,
Thanks for your feedback.
You should not hear a single ring when a blocked caller tries to call you, if this is happening, you will need to change one of the settings on the call blocker.
To do this, you will need to follow these steps :
1. Get a dial tone.
2. Press and hold the "Call List" button until you see the number 100 on the screen of the call blocker.
If you are still getting the single ring, then you will need to change the call blocker to it's second operating mode, to do that :
1. Get a dial tone.
2. Press and hold the "Call List" button until you see the number 200 on the screen of the call blocker.
If you still get the single ring, you will need to put the call blocker in it's third operating mode. To do that :
If you are still getting the single ring, then you will need to change the call blocker to it's second operating mode, to do that :
1. Get a dial tone.
2. Press and hold the "Call List" button until you see the number 300 on the screen of the call blocker.
One of these settings will solve the problem for you.
You can also block area codes or country codes, by following these steps :
1. Get a dial tone.
2. Press and hold the "Block Now" button until you hear a beep.
3. Enter the code **7# area or country code to block #
4. Hang up the phone.

Not Convenient for Wireless Phone System
Since we have a Panasonic wireless phone system, the base unit is where the CPR Blocker is installed. When we are near one of the remote phones and a bogus/scam call comes in, it is very inconvenient to have to go to the base unit to block the call.
Response from CPR Call Blocker USAJan 16, 2020
Hi Craig,
If you have the call blocker connected to cordless phones, you can block from your remote/extension, phones by answering the phone as normal, dialling #2 and then hanging up the phone, that way you do not need to go to the call blocker everytime you want to block a call.
If you have any other questions or queries, or need any assistance in the future please call us on 408-872-6822 (Monday to Friday, 5am to 5pm EST) so that we can assist you.
