The only problem with this unit is you will never block all the available numbers. Hackers and cons have access to every phone number in the world. The Block Now button is convenient for blocking numbers using the caller ID from the television.

The new Call Blocker has only been in place for 24 hours. Normally I get several unwanted calls daily, but not any more. Surprisingly, the CPR upgrade does not notify whatever it has blocked and just silence reigns. And friends and even web identity confirmations pass thru as necessary.

It was a snap to set up, and it seems to have reduced - but not eliminated - unwanted calls. We still get a few calls from "City, State" every day. One issue has arisen in that after we #2 a call, that same number rings again within 1-3 minutes. It only rings once, but that's irritating.

To have a new blocker at a reduced price for trade in of my original blocker, and have known spam numbers already blocked was just what I thought would be a better system than I already had from CPR Blocker. I like the new design of the blocker itself, also. The new blocker allows me fewer numbers to block, but having thousands of numbers already blocked, seemed like a good deal to get. Hoping I have less calls to block manually, we shall see.
