Shipping issues that ruined a surprise
Ordering online was very easy I found exactly what I was looking for and placed my order. After a few days, I checked the tracking of my package and noticed that there were some issues with delivery. The notes from tracking said there was a gate that prevented them from delivering so I reached out to the recipient of my gift to ask her about the gate and she said it doesn't hinder a delivery they just need to ring the bell. I contacted the shipping company and found out that the package had been returned to California Delicious. I then contacted California Delicious and spoke with Lisa she was helpful and asked if I had another address to resend my order to. At 1st I just wanted a refund but I reached out to the recipient again and asked for her work address and she did receive the gift a day later which was great! Overall, I was pretty disappointed that no one called me to tell me they couldn't deliver it and that it was shipped back also it ruined the surprise for my recipient.

After trying several of the online meal …
After trying several of the online meal sites, a friend recommended Hello Fresh to me. We received our first shipment as ordered, on time. The products were fresh, well packaged but not over packaged. Directions were easy to follow, portions were appropriately sized. I'd like to have a larger selection each week but the menu is varied and I'm sure as I do a better job navigating the site (it is easy), I'll find new and different items in other "styles" (classic vs vegi, etc). It is making me try things I wouldn't normally eat or cook. Overall a positive experience that I'd recommend to anyone. Please note - items are fresh and need preparation, you don't get a pre-packaged "sauce", you get the fresh ingredients to make the "sauce" or whatever the item is.

So happy
I ordered from another company a gift basket and it never came and the company was horrible. So I tried this company and I couldn't have been happier! I bought the other gift basket for mothers dat and it never came a couple weeks later. My mom was upset and I wanted to cheer her up and it never came :( so I went on your website and found a better gift basket (although I paid a lot more money for it) IT CAME THE NEXT DAY! I was so happy :) my mom loved it and it definitely made her feel better! Thank you so much! I definitely got what I paid for! My moms happiness :)

Great service
I ordered a gift basket for my son for Father's Day. I received an email to insure the correct delivery address and asked if I wanted my gift sent closer to Father's Day. I asked the gift be shipped as soon as my order was processed. I received my gift basket the very next day. Now that's great customer service! The gift basket looks great. I know he will love it. Thanks California Delicious!
