Overpriced junk. Do not consider buying café appliances. Shortly after using brand, new refrigerator, dishwasher stove, I have had issues with all of them and guess what I called about my dishwasher, not closing all the way steam coming out of the top and I am just over my one year warranty. Awesome thanks for nothing now I gotta pay for a Repair team to come and service all three items

Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage. Spent more on a full kitchen to have 'reliable' good quality stuff, but in less than 2 years, the stuff stopped working. Fridge estimate for repair is $2500. Look at other brands.

Bought a GE cafe Fridge, stove and dishwasher = NIGHTMARE
Bought a GE cafe Fridge, dishwasher and stove, dishwasher lasted a year , it was 3000, apparently not fixable. Fridge, the panel was fixed in a year and a half and never actually got fixed, it just starts beeping for hours and you cant shut it off, has a mind of its own, and now every time you open the oven it shuts off for some reason, again no fix available. Worst appliance purchase I have made, and I have bough a lot of appliances over the years for clients of my construction company and other businesses

Electrical issues
3 years ago we purchased the complete line of GE Cafe kitchen appliances, with the platinum glass finish, for our kitchen renovation. We love how they look in the space, but we have now had issues with 4 of the 5 items we purchased. The microwave periodically powers off for no reason; we have to flip the breaker at the panel to get it to work again. The stove will reboot for updates while in the middle of cooking something in the oven, therefore turning the oven off. 3 weeks ago, the ice maker stopped working altogether (we tried defrosting the whole fridge to ensure it wasn't a frozen line - it's not). Now yesterday the dishwasher completely died mid-cycle, and it won't power back on. They are pretty to look at, but terrible for performance. For a higher-end package, we definitely expected better! These were not worth the money!

GE Cafe Appliances Are the Worst
Unfortunately, we purchased a suite of Cafe products when we built our house in 2021--refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. The costs were high, so we mistakenly thought we purchased quality products.
FIRST: The fridge didn't make it five years before it stopped working the first time. A $300 repair later, and, now, nine months later, it has stopped again--this time it's the compressor. Called GE and they can't get a replacement part for 21 days. And how's this: the fridge is out of stock as well at the places where we'd buy a replacement.
SECOND: Our dishwasher has never really worked. The plastic parts that distribute the water to the various "propellers" (where the jets are) on the various levels always comes loose, leaving a mess.
THIRD: Just to toss in one more for you . . . GE Cafe requires GE branded water filters, which cost about three to four times what a decent third party brand costs. GE literally installed an RFID reader to make sure you were using their overpriced filters . . . no GE filter, no filtered water in the door dispenser. So GE has successfully turned a refrigerator into a subscription--you don't own it if they control how you use it.
I don't know if there are better alternatives out there--it seems like the whole world is a scam these days--but I would never give another of my hard-earned pennies--wait, nickels--to a company that I know for sure treats its customers like cheap commodities. Stay away from these appliances. They will only break your heart and your wallet.

Worst customer service.
Worst customer service. Spent $5000+ on a GE Cafe double oven. The unit came in a sealed container with everything, except the instruction manual. I called customer service and was told that they did not stock instruction manuals and if I wanted one, I needed to down load it from the internet. I objected, and said that I was owed an instruction manual. The rep said: "sorry cannot help you," and hung up.

Can not recommend Cafe Appliances and poor customer service.
While their products look nice, we purchased an accessory, side panels, for almost $900 that stay on for about a week. Cafe does not warranty their accessories. These panels don't adhere to the side of the fridge, they will tell you it's the appliance store problem. The appliance store is not responsible for their accessories not functioning. Theseproblem with Cafe, made by GE, is they selling something on their website they call seamless which is false advertising . The panels start to come off from the top top and bottom of the fridge within a couple of weeks. If you want an all white refrigerator - do not buy this one. It takes a month to get Customer service, first you have to tolerate getting AI generated emails for a month. After that it takes another few weeks to get a representative who talked in circles and after a lengthy lecture said there is Nothing we can do about it. For $ 900 they should stand behind this product. But they don’t.

The GE cafe fridge looks nice...
The GE cafe fridge looks nice.... but that is where it ends. For the price tag of this unit, you would expect the fridge to last more than (5) years. We have had nothing but issues with ours. To the point where we even contacted GE. They do not stand by their product, as they essentially told us there was nothing they could do. I for one will never purchase this product or brand again. Terrible product, and GE as a whole does not stand by their products. Two absolute necessities for me. I have had good experiences with other manufacturers, but not GE.....
