Why did Cadillac Lower its Standards with the Production of the CT4
I have been somewhat disappointed after trading my 2018 XT5 and purchasing the 2023 CT4 Premium Luxury. My family and I have driven Cadillacs for many years. We loved our prior models including XT5, SLS, Coupe Deville, Sedan Deville, Eldorado and Escalade. The CT4 Premium Luxury looks good from a glance however you soon realize after purchasing it that it is not the same quality vehicle as it's predecessors. The engine doesn't have the power. The materials feel cheaper and it is too cramped and tight. Cadillac should be ashamed for putting the Cadillac name on this car. In addition, the price is too costly for this vehicle. Lastly the electronic system needs work especially, the Bluetooth to Device and the starter. My recommendations, use better quality materials inside the car, improve engine performance, and adjust the purchase price. If this is not an option, discontinue production. If not, you will continue to lose old customers and potential new customers.

Regretful First Time GM Owner
2024 Cadillac Lyriq with 1,500 miles:
1) On delivery day, interior panel on driver’s side separated from body.
2) Immediately began experiencing problems with CarPlay. The car has been reprogrammed, reset and updated multiple times since delivery. None of these fixed the multiple CarPlay issues.
3) Lower passenger’s seat cushion came apart.
4) Brakes failed. The car spent one month at the dealership.
5) Faux leather on steering wheel began separating from the area around the Super Cruise indicator.
Cadillac EV Customer Care have been of no assistance. They promise to call you back, but do not. After sending an email to CEO Mary Barra, I was assigned an Executive Customer Service Specialist and was given a case number. This specialist did not return calls as promised.
Next step will be to pursue Lemon Laws in our state. My goal is to have GM repurchase this disaster of a car.

servizio assistenza inesistente

I was denied a transmission repair…
I was denied a transmission repair under my warranty and forced to pay for a $1500 transmission flush instead. Beware of Cadillac, they don't honor their warranties! Cadillac knows their transmission is defective! I have read other customer complaints online. What a ripoff! I will be filing a BBB complaint and lawsuit!

Poor Service All Around
Ever since purchasing my XTS from Valley Cadillac in Rochester, NY, I have had terrible service at the dealership and through Cadillac Customer Care.
You pay for a premium product and get jerked around, that about sums it up.
I have had nothing but issues since buying my car through Valley Cadillac. I should have known at the sale that the service would be atrocious, but Valley has essentially waited out the bumper to bumper warranty through malice or just sheer incompetence. There have been many service related issues(heated seats not working which I fixed by replacing the battery after I was told it was working as intended, key fabs not working soon after pick-up and was told I could purchase a new fab battery through Valley, promises made during the sale that ended up being lies about car features, always being made to feel as if they are doing you a favor to honor the warranty). I have made multiple customer service requests with little assistance from Cadillac. However, issue I will not let go of is that I brought in my car for service in March 2022, well within the 4 year bumper to bumper to warranty, for issues with driving (bad vibrations, wheels locking when starting from stop, turning). After having the car for 3 days, the issue was dismissed as having an uneven wear to the tires, which I purchased in October 2021 and a small bend in the rim. On hearing this I did not believe that it was true and I took it to another repair shop where they informed me of worn pads and calipers that were so gummed up they needed special equipment to release them. Calipers were covered and Valley did not replace or address them at the time, now the coverage is ended. I have no faith that Valley will make good on partial or full reimbursement for the cost to replace the calipers, they have done absolutely nothing right in the past and that is my mistake to trust that an established dealer who has figured out how to avoid their obligations to cover parts under warranty, by saying that everything is working as intended and waiting for the warranty to run out. They are awful and nothing has changed in the 4+ years since purchasing my vehicle. If I could do it over I would stay away from Valley.
