C2 did not provide the service offered to my daughter, she still got an F. The tutors were rude and mean to her. Even Mrs. Kim insulted her. My daughter has most AP classes and is part of the English Honor Society, there was only 1 subject that C2 had to help her and the company didn't deliver. I had several conversations with Mrs. Kim and nothing change. C2 should improve on solving problems.

I honestly feel that C2 education is not worth the money. It's so heavily commercialized. My parents have been getting non-stop calls from them lately. If this happens, it's a red flag. Moreover, the pricing is not reasonable. I've taken a C2 SAT practice test. During the review session, I received little to no feedback on how to improve my score. I found the test to be significantly harder than the exams released by the College Board. Who designs the mock tests? Where are you getting the questions from? With the person whom I met w/ during the review session, she debunked College Board and Khan Academy materials, claiming them to be "deceiving." To sum up, I don't think C2 education cares about your child's needs. They're a business; therefore, they want to earn money. By designing their mock tests to be significantly harder than officially released tests and claiming that their version is "the one that represents what you're going to get on the real SAT/ACT," they want to trick you into buying their services.

The worst experience in my life at Lincoln Park C2Education Center..... I had responded to their advertisement of free diagnostic test. I brought my son for testing and the same day the director Mrs. Stacey gave me fear mongering review of my son's test. I told her that we are homeschoolers and don't have much experience with testing and testing centers.I knew my son's weaknesses and I know that his problem was time management on the test but Mrs. Stacey kept repeating how low my son's score is......I have asked about their payment options and she quickly opened the application on her laptop where I could apply for "Your Tuition Solutions" credit. Well I thought that after filling the application online I am signing the same application in paper but actually I have signed the contract.... .. I am so upset with their DECEPTIVE quick enrollment procedure but what comes next is more terrifying ...... After I have figured out that $7500 have been paid to their center I have called and explained that I didn't make a final decision.....THEN I am finding out that they DO NOT HAVE cancellation policy where you can get your money back if you cancel before even getting one minute of tutoring. Also if you paid via "Your Tuition Solutions" you are NOT ELIGIBLE for 100% money back guarantee refund ...... So they ripped me off $2400 for nothing, just signing the contract that I was not introduced to properly and professionally......Besides that they charged me $150 cancellation fee???????..... When I came to talk to the regional director Mrs. Deena and explained my frustration NOTHING happen....on the end when I said that I will give them bad review and make sure that other people hear my story she said "We have strong community and lawyers...... Be careful" Imagine how RUDE they are.......... She didn't scare me. I am writing my horrible experience with Lincoln Park C2Education Center so other parents know about it. PARENTS .... Read their CONTRACT carefully before you sign it......It is not customer friendly and it is TRICKY. BEWARE.....

I agree with all the reviews regarding request for refund if not satisfied with service. You would think reputation would be of utmost importance to C2 so why not refund unused tutoring hours for unhappy customers? The Directors are all rays of sunshine when you are inquiring about the program and will promise you the moon to get you to sign up - bonus hours if you sign up today, discounts for paying in full, etc. however, once you’ve signed up, tutors are constantly changing- no consistency, children are just working through test books and actually NOT being tutored, etc. practice taking a test would improve scores but it would be nice if the children were actually tutored on the subject. When refund was requested, their entire demeanor changed. No immediate return of calls/emails. Five weeks later, still no indication of how much would be refunded. Just no communication. With so many complaints regarding refunds, and lawyers having to be hired to get some resolution, I will look into a class action again C2 for deceptive practices. Refund unused hours as requested, communicate with clients and improve your reputation. This is bad business - very unethical.

Not satisfied with C2. Waste of nearly $$$ for my child to sit with 3 other kids working through workbooks without much help from the “tutor.” Forget trying to get a refund from them - quick to take your money but good luck with getting your prorated refund. They are not to be trusted - sold me a “lemon” of a product. 2/7/2019: thank you for responding but the email address does not work - bounces back “delivery status notification - failure”. I tried to call your toll free number as well but was told by the rep that I need to speak with the center mgr. again, the runaround. How long does it take to issue a refund frim when the client requests cancellation (average time is fine) ?

Horrible. My advice is to save your money. I paid around $13,000 and my sons grades are not improving. They charge you by the hour and two hours (not really two hours, it more like 110 min) minimum per class is their policy. The have 3 students per class so each students really gets 36 minutes (110 minutes/3 students). so you pay 130 for 36 minutes. I tried sylvan, varsity and this center. Im trying to get a refund but so far its not working. The director didn't give us a time to think or change our mind but she gave another customer a week to change her mind. The other customer is one of our friends. I advise you to stay away from this place.

We dropped about $15,000 on this center. My daughter is prepping for the SAT does great but needs a lot of time to prep which is why we joined in July for a Spring 2017 exams. Still her scores have not improved. Though she is/was attending center at least 4 hrs a week. Not sure how the program and your books are helping...as whenever she pursues for your test she looses confident and now the point is she doesn't want to take any practice test at your place. It feels like should file a law suit and refund all my money. The Center Director keeps changing every quarter. Wish I can talk to a higher authority.

My Son went there for 2 1/2 yrs with no improvement at all. After my received his latest MAP score i decided there was no point in sending him there any more. When i went to them asked them for a refund they said i will have to loose 30% of what i paid which was over $1700. When i had 25 Hr on his previous contract they said the prices are going up, pay in advance so you can benefit and convinced me in to purchasing early on. I had not used even an Hr of what paid for my 2nd contract of 100 Hr and it is very unfair to take 30 % from a parent that is pulling her child out because the program did not help the child. That clearly shows that they care nothing about the child and only care about money. They either force you to pay or use the program that is not helping your child. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit so parents like me so not face the issue again.
