We are sorry you did not enjoy your experience with Winona, Kirsten. HRT is not an exact science, and it does take time for the body to adjust to the influx of hormones. If you were voicing continued symptoms of discomfort, then it is acceptable and recommended to increase your dose of HRT. It can take some trial and error, as each woman is different, but your Winona doctor is committed to helping you find the exact dose that works for you! We assure you that we do not utilize a "one size fits all" approach. We see that you last communicated with your Winona doctor in February about some other health issues and she did give you some suggestions and guidance. However, you opted to cancel your account and see an in-person provider. We are sorry to see you go, but if you wish to resume your treatment plan and explore options, we would be thrilled to have you rejoin us! During treatment, doctors sometimes create a one-time order (a prescription without refills) and ask patients to check in after an agreed-upon period to report on their symptoms. This allows them to add refills or adjust the dosage based on your experience. Depending on when a patient reaches out, this can sometimes delay the next refill, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We also want to acknowledge that while we prepare and ship orders promptly, occasional USPS delays are beyond our control. We understand how frustrating these situations can be, and we’re hopeful there will be no further interruptions in your care. We look forward to continuing to support you on your HRT journey!
