Don’t give up to soon
Getting setup and receiving the prescription was quick and easy. I struggled with not feeling like I had a doctor right there to ask questions, there seem to be delays in responding back. Following Winona FB group and reading all the amazing experiences they were having and it seem like most were seeing results immediately. I never had immediate results or relief, I am 8 weeks into it and now are starting to feel the benefits. Some of the things I am starting to see is better sleep, no night sweats, more energy and clear mind. I can’t wait to see what other changes will come. Starting to feel like myself again.

Hang in there, Brenda! Every woman is different and will have a unique response to HRT. Some women (enviably) have quicker results, while it may take longer for others to see any changes. The average time it takes to see changes is around 10-12 weeks, but we are glad that you are seeing them now at 8 weeks! Better sleep, decreased night sweats, more energy and a clear mind are all great wins! Your Winona doctor will ask you to complete a formal Follow Up at the 10 week mark, and further changes can be adjusted if needed. We want to get you complete relief and are committed to helping you find just the right amount HRT for your symptoms. I would recommend Winona to anyone…
I would recommend Winona to anyone wanting to reduce their premenopausal symptoms. The process of meeting with the Doctor was quick and easy and my refills arrived promptly. I have way less brain fog and have noticed less hot flashes.

I love that it is a wonderful resource…
I love that it is a wonderful resource for women! The intake is easy, quick, and free. There isn’t any hidden cost to be a patient. Just the prescriptions are what you pay for! I wish there were more doctors on staff, so the questions you ask are answered a tiny bit faster, but other than that, wonderful experience!

Happy so far
So far my experience has been good with Winona. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because when I first started it took awhile for the doctor to get back to me. I ended up reaching out to support. The support staff responds very quickly. Overall it has been a positive experience. I just completed my 3 month follow up, I had to change my prescription up a little bit and it was very easy to do so.

First 3 months
In general, it is a very easy process and easy to get in touch with my doctor. It may not be instant but within a week. Not sure if I’m seeing great changes yet but more changes are inevitable with perimenopause. I enjoy the access to the community on Facebook and have tried twice to post questions about other women’s experiences (like getting acne on DHeA) but always get shut down by admins saying I should talk to my doctor (which I have btw), only to see other questions that somehow get through that are more medical than mine. That is beyond frustrating. Otherwise it has been a good experience so far.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback, and we understand that it can be frustrating when you are unsure if you feel relief with treatment. Did you know it can take 90 days before you may feel the full benefits of your medication? It may take time for your body to adjust to the hormones. HRT has benefits for cardiovascular health and life expectancy, and it decreases the risk of osteoporosis and osteopenia. There are also benefits to vaginal health, including reduced dryness, pain with intercourse, and incontinence of urine, as well as fewer UTIs and a reduced risk of colon cancer. You also have the option of discussing a dose change with your Winona doctor, or even changing to a different treatment method (i.e. patches or pills) to see if one might work better for your body! Some women do respond better to certain treatments -- you are unique and so is your experience.
