Unethical prescribing of medications
As a healthcare professional, I am very concerned with my initial assessment of treatment. My doctor did not ask me if I had any questions/concerns or let me know what was being prescribed to me and blatantly pushed through a treatment that was immediately charged to my credit card. By the time I reviewed the message, 2 hours had passed since the doctor pushed through the treatment order and now I am unable to cancel. I did not give my consent for the treatment! I had questions!! The site misleads you into believing that you will have a consult/discussion with your doctor to choose an individualized treatment.

Thank you for your feedback, Paula, however, we are unable to locate an account under your name as you listed it here. We do provide an opportunity for all of our patients to ask any questions that you would like to address before the doctor prescribes you any medication. There is a section at the end of the onboarding questionnaire that allows you to communicate freely with your potential doctor. If you do not have any questions, then the doctor may proceed with prescribing your treatment plan. We do try to expedite your onboarding process and prescribe any treatment plans as soon as possible, but all prescriptions are placed on a 24 hour hold before the pharmacy prepares them. This holding period allows patients to cancel and/or edit their treatment plan. We are happy to cancel any orders and initiate refunds as long as the medications have not been shipped from the pharmacy. Again, if you did not message us or your Winona doctor, it is assumed that you wish to receive the medications as reflected by the subscription agreement you signed. We would love to clarify our process further with you. Please message our Patient Care team at [email protected] We look forward to your message!
