As women enter the menopause transition in their late 30s and early 40s, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone begin to steadily decline, creating challenging symptoms. There are over 100 symptoms associated with declining hormones in the menopause transition, some of the most common including hot flashes, mood swings, and vaginal dryness. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is a prescription treatment used to boost hormone levels, by replenishing the estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone that diminish over time. At Winona, we only use plant-based, bioidentical hormones that are identical in molecular structure to those made naturally in your body.If you’re feeling overwhelmed by menopause symptoms, you’re not alone. It only took about a week or less for my perimenopause symptoms to go away after taking my HRT medication. The Sildenafil arousal cream, however, did nothing for me. I was disappointed about that. I do like the timing of the responses from my doctor when I message her. Very quick. The Winona Web page is very useful. Lots of information.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that your HRT helped relieve your perimenopause symptoms so quickly, that’s a wonderful outcome. We’re sorry to hear that the Sildenafil cream didn’t meet your expectations. Response can vary, and there may be other options worth exploring based on your experience and goals. It’s great to know you’ve found your doctor responsive and the website helpful and informative. We truly appreciate your balanced feedback and are grateful to be part of your journey!

Hormonal cream has been working wonders for me. I haven't had any complications & zero hot flashes. I appreciate the great communication. Staff is always there to help or answer questions. My only issue is that it is not easy to go to your account & modify subscriptions.

After 90 days on hormone replacement therapy, I’ve seen some small improvements especially with night sweats and brain fog, but nothing dramatic yet. The doctor has been supportive, answered all my questions, and followed up as needed, which I really appreciate. I’m planning to stick with it for another three months and am hopeful I’ll start seeing more noticeable changes, particularly with my mood and weight. It feels like it’s helping in some ways, just not significantly yet.

Thank you for sharing your 90-day update! We’re so glad to hear you’re already noticing some improvements, especially with night sweats and brain fog. It’s great to know your doctor has been supportive and responsive, that ongoing guidance is such an important part of the process. Many patients do continue to see more noticeable changes over time, so it’s encouraging that you’re planning to stick with it and see how things progress. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and are grateful to be part of your journey.

Providing treatment for the ignored and neglected age group—wonderful! If only you took insurance so another neglected group could benefit.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback and kind words. We’re really glad to hear you value the care we provide. Winona doesn't directly work with insurance companies and is not able to bill your insurance provider on your behalf. However, we understand the importance of using pre-tax dollars to pay for your healthcare expenses, so we do accept payment methods associated with a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). If you opt to pay for your prescription(s) out-of-pocket, you can file a claim and submit your receipts to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance company about your benefits package. Some private or employer-designated insurance providers may reimburse you for HRT, but this depends on your specific insurance plan and deductible.

As someone who had went to healthcare professionals to seek help, and nothing was working, when I started looking into the company, I was at a breaking point and willing to try anything I could to bring myself back. Within about three weeks of starting the medication, I saw a completely different version of myself starting to come back. I was much happier, I was sleeping so much better, I felt like the light inside of me had been turned back on, and I was finding my way back from the darkness

I’m ready at four because I’m still having trouble sleeping .

Thank you for the review. While many see results early, it can take a full 3 months (90 days) to experience the full benefits of hormone replacement therapy. We recommend sticking with it for a few more weeks; however, your Winona doctor is always available to discuss your sleep concerns and adjust your treatment plan if necessary here: https://app.bywinona.com/message You may also reach out to our patient care team at [email protected] if you need further assistance. Please know that we are here for you throughout the process, so let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you!
