Terrible Doctor Assigned to my Intake
The doctor assigned to my intake was horrible. Flat out rude and was not well informed on the conditions in my medical history. At one point, she even accused me of faking my most recent doctor's note (which she had ASKED for even after I told her that it was a quick quarterly check-up visit and there was not going to be much information present). If these are the types of doctors that Winona employs, I would not trust them to accurately be able to address issues and prescriptions. After I indicated that I was no longer interested in the service if she was going to treat me like I was lying directly from the get-go there was NO additional follow-up. I reached out and requested that the medical information I had already provided be removed from the system since I was never an official patient and nothing was ever prescribed and Winona refused. I am uncomfortable with the company having my information, but apparently at this point there is nothing else that I can do. 0/10 would NEVER recommend when there are so many other quality companies out there with knowledgeable, compassionate care.

We are so sorry to learn that you didn't have a good experience with Winona, Haley! While occasionally a patient and doctor may disagree, we assure you that a doctor's decision to treat or not treat a patient lies ultimately in whether our online HRT platform is the safest method for you, given your medical history and other pertinent factors. We know this can be frustrating when communication with your doctor does not go as expected, and we apologize if you were made to feel as though you were not being listened to. We see that your doctor has canceled your account, so it is our hope that you will be able to find the best treatment for you in the safest manner possible -- even if that isn't with us! As with any medical facility, whether online or in person, once a doctor-patient relationship is established (even if medication is not prescribed), records must be retained for a certain amount of time per law. Retention periods can vary, and are primarily determined by state and federal laws. We are truly sorry for any miscommunication or misunderstanding, and should you need assistance in the future, we are still here for you!
