BuyDomainsReviews of buydomains.com

You are going to see a lot of negative reviews for this company mostly about people complaining about their business model. Do I want to pay up to 3000$ for my domain name? No, I would rather pay 8$ for a standard .com registration! Now domain names are a commodity and you need to spend money if someone owns something that you want. Many of the people that complain about the business model probably own the last smartphone and paid probably about 800$ for it. Do they really need it? Probably not, but they wanted it. It's the same for domain names. I wanted a name that buydomains owned, I paid for it! The transfer was extremely smooth and the support from buydomains was great! Nothing to complain about on the contrary! In any case, you may disagree about the price they will ask, you may be bothered by their business model but you can trust them : you will get what you paid for in less than 3 business days!

Crooks. Took my brand name off linkedin when I started my company, then rejected a cease and desist when they were in clear violation of trademark. I paid there stupid price to avoid litigation. If they ask for more than $5,000 for your Trademarked domain, just sue them or open a UDPR complaint.

these are my opinions about this company now I have to wait 60 days for me the main need to be transferred into then all my information is public which is not a good thing for us they were great help support and billing at the same time I just really wish they had a protection against information especially when you pay $400

You'll see lot's of salty people here because their domains were snatched up - yeah it's rude but don't tell domain brokers what domain you want to buy because they'll buy it obviously. Their job is to resell domains. Anyway, I negotiated a purchase of a domain on behalf of my client. Make sure you haggle with these guys. I got nearly 50% off. Purchase was smooth and we even were able to pay via Paypal so that was much more reassuring. the transfer process went smooth too. Their user portal leaves much to be desired but we were moving the domain name anyway so it didn't matter. to summarize - yes these guys can be cheeky, it's how they make their money. Just be smarter than them and haggle the price down.

I searched for a domain for a future investment I was interested in, BuyDomains had it for sale and we negotiated a price. Sale went through smoothly and the domain was in my procession a few days later. Great customer service, quick replies. Did everything via email. Will use again for sure.

I've been looking at an available website address for months now. I called this joke of a company and foolishly told them the name I wanted. Suddenly, the address was no longer available and this company could sell it to me for around $5,000. What a scam. Get a real career and stop trying to rip people off!

I picked a domain for my business which was owned by BuyDomains, but I was very afraid after seeing the bad reviews in TrustPilot and several scam reports I got over searching Google. But later the support person told me that it's owned by Endurance International Group, which also owns several other big domain hosting companies. After verifying that, I paid for the domain and the support guy was cool enough to transfer the domain to me almost immediately. I waited for my domain transfer to NameCheap before I write the review here. I think anyone can buy domains from this site without worries, but you need to have some bargains over price. ;)

Very poor company to deal with. trying to close a doormant account and they just give you the runaround. Poor service. Stay away.
