I registered a rare familyname as a brandname and they quickly registered the domain. Makes no sense for them or pretty much anyone else to register. Should have done it myself, but they are absolute scumbags for trying to make money this way. I rather consider legal action than pay them anything.

I was inquiring about a domain through Domain.com and they referred me to BuyDomains.com the domain was $588 which was originally $800 ish bucks and once I inquired through BuyDomains they made the domain $1,488.00. COMPLETE scammers! Domain.com owns this company so please go through a reputable place for domains. I have filed a trademark complaint for my business.

This company is a scam. Before you purchase anything from this website, please do your homework and search for the keyword value in Adwords. They tried to convince me buying a domain name for over 2K and when I checked it had zero market value and competition. They will call your domain name ''premium'' and tell you the factors depend on sales, keyword value, length, brandability, industry etc. but the website I was after for didn't have none of these. P.S. they dropped the price with 20% when I sent them a screenshot of Adwords. Luckily I can search for another name but if you're really after a specific name, always negotiate because their prices are ridiculous.

The price quoted for my brands domain without a hypen was extortion and is Domain Squatting. it will be far cheaper for me to process a UDRP request with ICANN.

Crooks. Took my brand name off linkedin when I started my company, then rejected a cease and desist when they were in clear violation of trademark. I paid there stupid price to avoid litigation. If they ask for more than $5,000 for your Trademarked domain, just sue them or open a UDPR complaint.
