Well, BuyBackWorld sends review requests to people who've never purchased anything from them, so I assume they're circling the drain. 0/10, will continue to not purchase from them again. Edit: because BuyBackWorld has reported my review for violating Trustpilot's Terms of Service, for the record, I have had "a genuine experience within the past 12 months" with BuyBackWorld: I sold something to them. The review request was from a buyer, which I'm not. I stand by my review. If this company can't tell the difference between people who give them money and people who they send money to, they're in trouble.

5 stars simply because I didn't think ANYONE would buy my old junk!

I had a great experience selling products to BuyBackWorld! Every step of the process was clearly explained and I got packaging materials quickly. My items were processed quickly and I received payment fast (I used the PayPal option vs paper check.) I was skeptical when I first engaged BuyBackWorld, but I quickly learned that any concerns I had were unwarranted! To explain, I’ve traded in / sold old phones & tablets back to the companies who made them and had some bad experiences when those companies tried to claim my devices were broken when they were not. (Always take pictures before you package /ship!) So I was initially nervous engaging an independent company like BuyBackWorld to sell products, but I had the BEST selling experience with BuyBackWorld. Now, I’ve used BuyBackWorld several times and continue to have great experiences! I highly recommend BuyBackWorld!

First off let me say I really do hate writing this review like this but I feel I have to. I do understand that there is a pandemic going on but still I feel like there should be a little bit faster process with the services. The initial process went smooth and quickly. Mailed my item off and package was documented received promptly. I did receive an email that it has been received and it will take 10-15 days to process possibly due to the pandemic. It has now been more than 3 weeks coming up on a month that it has been taking to get the order processed. I have sent an status update email which I received an automated email stating that it will take 2 days for a reply and that has not happened either. All I’m asking for is acknowledgment and maybe a little bit more detail about how long the process may take other than what’s noted in the automated emails and the PSA on the initial sign in page. I am still looking forward to the end process but just looking for acknowledgement which I have not received any as of yet. And from the other comments it definitely seems like a great service and hoping to leave a better review once the process is completed.

It's a simple process and well worth it. Instead of throwing out an old cell phone I was able to recycle it and make $15! Win, win!

Horrible company. I waited almost a month to get my iPhone inspected. They came back and changed my evaluation because my iPhone had a cracked screen. I sent in my iPhone with NO CRACKS ANYWHERE. They provided no pictures and devalued my item. HORRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT SEND YOUR ITEMS HERE. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME.
