Our minor daughter inadvertently purchased app - free trial language
I contacted Buildfire Software on November 21, 2023 when my minor daughter inadvertently purchased Buildfire Software. Within 24 hours of purchase, I left a voicemail and received a return call from a Buildfire employee, I explained the problem, and she was going to escalate to management. The problem being my minor daughter had made an unauthorized purchase of software that she did not understand, has no intent to use this software and was not able to understand the underlying terms and conditions that are masked under your offers of "free and no obligation" on your website, specifically: There is no cost to develop on buildfire.js. Sign up for a free account, simply access SDK by signing up for a free developer account. Buildfire will not return messages or calls and states no refunds on credit card dispute.

Hi Liz, Thank you for sharing this feedback - we’re sorry for the frustration this caused. Buildfire is intended for business and developer use, and our Terms of Service explicitly prohibit use by minors. Since late 2024, the company has been under new management and we’ve strengthened our policies, billing clarity, and internal processes to prevent situations like this from occurring. — The Buildfire Team
