Products were great. Had to basically beg them to allow me to spend 3 grand on them though. Had to call five days in a row to continuously have my order approved and checked on and then fixed then repurchased and then checked on. Other than that I'm very satisfied.

While the products seem to be fairly high quality for the price, I was not happy with the customer service. They charged me 10.5% tax, which was wrong, and when I pointed this out to have it corrected I was told that the is tax for my zip code. It is not. It is 9%. Not that big of a difference, but still incorrect. Trying to make a few bucks for overcharging, even after the mistake is pointed out, is not a good way to run a business. Will not be buying from them again. Update to respond to their response If you take these matters so seriously then maybe you should make sure they're using the correct information to begin with and when a customer points out that is wrong maybe you should look into it instead of telling them they're lying. Sorry, not sorry, but your generic apology and general dismissal doesn't amount to much since you won't correct the mistake to begin with.

I've ordered through BUDK/UC/CutleryUSA/Kadel's for years. Mostly Hobbit and LOTR items. I'd say 8 times outta 10 there's a quality control issue with items ordered. Something crooked, bent, scratched, cracked, or warped. It shouldn't be what I've come to expect when ordering but inevitably became as such to the point I just stopped collecting. I stopped trying to leave reviews on the sites as those are approved based off 5 star ratings I believe. 3 out of 5 review, yeah thats not getting approved. 5 stars or don't waste your time. While I do still occasionally order from them, I keep expectations low, having recently ordered a scabbard, it was just thrown in a large box with no packing materials, they clearly don't care. A send it back for a refund or replacement attitude isn't needed if you just apply quality over quantity. Contacting CS with issues for 10 years is always met with, "we can forward this to product development thank you." Translates to, "Yeah okay whatever." If you want cheap stuff its the place to go. Especially for license held replicas, but at the end of the day. Its all so-so. If there's an issue they will replace it, however many times as needed... I'll give them that.

Return policy is crap you have to pay to return the items back out of your pocket and it can cost to ship back as much as 2/3 of the value of the item even at the cheapest rate through usps. better you keep the items you don't like or if they are damaged.

Took to long to ship when was in stock Had to email and find out what was the hold up Was shipped right after that

udpate to the below: BUDK sent me a knife after reading this review and the product is outstanding! thanks to BUDK for fulfilling their obligations to their customers changed to 3 stars as a result of their customer service though should of never reached that point. : I would give less than 1 order a belt knife, complete, came in and was missing the knife emailed and they said it was separate yet their site shows together pointed this out and they refused to ship or reimburse. Will not order again three are on there one with just the knife one with just the belt and one complete ea one is 29.99

Product was in described condition but I paid for 2 day shipping and it took a week. $23 I expect 2 day shipping
