BrownellsReviews of brownells.com

One of the worst company s I've ever done business with.Sent in my order online, payed for the item only to receive a email weeks later saying my order had been cancelled.Still no refund, and not answering phones or emails.Stay well away from this company.

Don't waste your time with this outfit: 1.5 hours down the drain in an attempt to order one can of penetrant oil. -Website malfunctions. -Three sessions with their chat service: Cookie clean up, Delete web history, etc., etc. Malfunctioning website is everybody's fault but their's. -Called customer service: 10-15 minute wait time. -Beware: Their "free shipping" and "discount" offers for submitting your contact info: 'caveat emptor'.

Paid $20 for two day shipping...Brownells kept sending me info that it would be a two day delivery...FedEx did not state the same thing when I looked up item on FedEx's tracking system. BAIT AND SWITCH..I AM TRULY THROUGH WITH BROWNELLS. Way to many other retails online that will not "flat out lie" to their customers.

I ordered (thru their website) a front ramp dovetail sight. The review of the part said In Stock. When I pushed the order, then it said Backordered. I tried to cancel the order but was told I couldn't. I will never do business with them again.

I ordered a package on 12/20 and Brownells shipped 4 days later with expected delivery of 12/28. Expedited shipping paid for. Tracking shows UPS Mail Innovations delivered package to post office but post office denies ever receiving it. Called Brownells and asked them to trace the package. They refuse saying I have to wait 10 more business days. I explain that I just want them to ask the shipper to run a trace, nothing more, they assertively refuse again, telling me to wait 10 more business days. I explain that I called post office and post office is saying package is lost. No Luck, Brownells is worthless, First time shopping there, Last time shopping there.

I been buying my reloading supplies and equipment from Brownells but on Dec. 2, 2019, I ordered an RCBS Matchmaster set of die for a 6.5 creedmoor and it came Dec. 13, I guess you can't complain if you are getting a free shipment, total amount of order including other items is close to $300. The die that I got is either a returned item or a blemished one since there's a lot of scratches on the lock ring and the body of the bullet seater is all scratched up. I called customer service on a Saturday and he said that they cannot process an exchange and I have to call back Monday. Called Monday and I got the same person that I spoke on Saturday and reminded him about our conversation. To make the long story short the customer service is so bad that I have to hang up and decided that I will never order again from this place even if it is cheaper by a few dollars, I would rather buy somewhere else and pay more if customer service is helpful to the buyer's concerns.

My Brownells order was incomplete. The shipping box was damaged and one 300 blkout ammo box was missing along with 11 rounds from another ammo box. Most ammo I have received from other companies double box their ammo. What was most frustrating, was calling Saturday and reporting the issue, and the only confirmation after waiting 30 mins to speak with someone was - I will receive a call on Monday. Brownell's can take my money on a weekend but can't fix an issue that was originated by Brownell's. I have to ask myself is saving a dollar on a box of ammo worth this aggregation? I never received a call. I called and was informed I have to take a picture before they will send my ammo. I was told I have to be inconvenient because of others who have lied. I ordered 12 boxes of 300 blkout ammo $359.00 why would I lie over $30.00? I told them to keep the box of ammo and 11 missing rounds. I only deal with customer first base companies.

What a joke. I ordered a s&b brace and my Order was put on hold and I tried to contact them five times and nothing back. I finally got ahold of Customer support and canceled my order. I will never recommend this joke of a company. Next time I’ll read everyone’s reviews before I ordered for these places.
