I’m not sure why people are complaining about customer service with Brownells. I had a an issue with FedEx delivering my package to the wrong address and when the FedEx claims department denied my claim despite the evidence, Brownells took care of the issue and shipped me a replacement. Tessa on the mobile chat helped get my information to the right people and Dustin with customer service got me squared away with my replacement. This was my first time doing business with Brownells and it was a very expensive purchase for me, so the fact that there was no hassle, just quality customer support, really helped remove the stress of the situation. They will get my business in the future.

This is not a 5 star review, I just wanted you to read another less than 1 review in a different spot. Brownells sucks! Ordered in stock 9mm bullets, was supposed to ship in 3 days, a week later... no email, no tracking number, checked order online... BACK ORDERED! Looked at website again... In Stock! They play bait and switch... Called, emailed, no response or call back. I have to wait 11 days to open dispute with discover. I will because I am going on trip and I don't want 1000 bullets sitting on my front porch. Will never order from them again.

Wow, reading the other comments below I'm beside myself. I have to say I had an awesome experience with Brownells. I've done business with them twice both times was happy. one of the items was slightly off I was able to modify myself. but I had called before I did, and customer service was really awesome! they responded back to me in less than 8 hours. Thank you Brownells! I will definitely do more business with you in the future..

I don't know about the rest of you I was very happy with my experience. The techs are a little snippy but I'm not in their shoes and they could be quite busy and under a lot of stress. I spoke to a sales rep who was very knowledgeable and walked me through everything I needed. My order arrived in a timely manner and I could not have been more happy. They are a little pricier than some other places oh, but I was very happy with the service and the products I got. I will use them again regardless of what the rest of the feedback in this site says my experience was good.

UPDATED - Ordered a can of Aluma Hyde Matt Black. Arrived fast. Started on my project and immediately the paint shot “splotches” or big drops of paint. UPDATE - this problem turned out to be my fault.....NOT Brownells! Then it stopped completely as if clogged up. So I emailed Brownells, no response. Then I called Brownells. The Customer Service Rep was friendly enough, but what upset me is that my “claim” has now been forwarded to the “claims department”, with an unknown response date. All for a $20 can of paint??? However, in the end, Brownells quickly replaced the defective paint. The clog was a defective product, the splotches were the result of my defective painting skills. This is the BEST Firearm Paint I have used in terms of finish quality and durability.

The only place I can find my 308 ammo was Brownells. After reading some reviews, I took a chance and ordered two boxes. They arrived as promised. I ordered another two boxes and they also arrived as promised. My experience was great.

I have ordered many items from Brownell's, and highly recommend them. Every item I have gotten has worked as described and was at a decent price. Even items that were on backorder were delivered in a relatively short time.
