What a terrible Compnay. Placed an order based on their website saying they had it. Two days later, I received a blank invoice with no note. I ended up tracking the order to find out the cancelled it. No reason but the item was no longer available. I tried to contact them and got an auto response saying they were days behind on emails and didn’t know when they would respond. Terrible company that I will but from again.

Poor follow Through and Not Helpful Resolving I had an issue with a hard to find part on a tight timeline, the tech support was awesome, spent a lot of time with me finding the part and then getting it shipped out within 24 hours, they gave the package to FedEx which turned out to be a complete nightmare. I had double my shipping costs to receive the package within 48 hours and they took it from Ia to Tn and then left it there for 1.5 weeks. They were a complete waste of time getting it resolved so I called Brownell's again, they apologized and told me they would ship another one out right away and then request the 1st package to be returned to them and that I should have an email confirming within a couple of hours. The next day still nothing, so I called again, then made it into Claims department who was not helpful at all, she told me I could buy it again and then maybe get my 1st purchase refunded within 45 days. Then they proceeded to tell me I'm sorry we can't do that either, item is not in stock. So I found the parts I wanted and ordered them to be delivered within 48 hours from a different company. At this point I have bought items twice and not sure how to get my money back from them other than calling my card company to cancel the charges. This was my first order ever with them and it will absolutely be my last, it's one thing to have issues but how they handle it is what will set them apart. This was their chance to win me over and make double up on my support of the company and they back office people although nice really blew it on the results. Customer service is the only thing that separates one company from the next, forget that and we won't return!

The worst customer service. This place is a joke. Only buy here if you are ready to give them any and all info about your self more than once. Seems like a scam beware

Bought an item and Fed Ex sent it to the wrong address. Happens. But after that, Brownells dropped the ball. Didn't return emails or calls. The days went by with no money and no product. Brownells didn't care. Finally had to call the credit card company and reverse the charge.

They have degraded in service in my opinion. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE SHIPPING insurances! if you decide to buy from Brownells. they will blame everyone else and make you wait months to settle any damaged, lost, stolen, and undeliverable packages. They have been taking forever to deliver items.

Terrible experience. Placed an order for handgun ammunition. Checked out and paid for the item and received an email confirmation. Then about 30 minutes later I receive a notification that the order was cancelled. When I placed the order, the item was in stock for over 10 minutes. How did my order get cancelled?? Their customer service representative told me they don't track their inventory in real-time. Poor excuse and something that they need to fix immediately. More and more pissed off customers having bad experience with this company and their terrible website service. Why advertise things you can't sell?

I placed an order yesterday morning and paid an extra $30 for next day delivery. They didn’t ship it out until today because of a “snowstorm” and now it won’t get here for another four days. I was never notified that they would not be able to honor next day shipping and they are refusing to refund me the $30 I paid for shipping. Do not recommend, never do business with this company

Ordered ammo on January 29th. Received three emails confirming the order. Never received a shipping notification so I contacted them via chat for a status. Their reply was "It was cancelled due to stock" I asked why haven't I been notified and only now finding out? Their reply "Due to order cancellations it can take a while" I asked if they would offer anything for the inconvenience. Their reply "You can always type coupons in the search engine or sign up for our emails to get codes" Just with those replies you can tell they don't give a damn about their customer. Oh and I have the transcript to back this up.
