Briogeo customer service is an absolute nightmare. The only phone number for customer service is for the hearing impaired, and email responses are spotty at best. It's been over a month and a half-since I placed an order and still have not received my shampoo and conditioner. Apparently, there was a mix up, and it was supposed to ship with the anti-frizz serum I received. I have emailed customer service about the whereabouts of my order and to return the anti-frizz serum, It makes my hair greasy after one drop. But they have intermittently gotten back to me and have not resolved any of my issues. The whole process has been incredibly frustrating and a turn-off for future purchases.

Ordered $100 scalp revival products. Dried my hair out and caused scalp acne. So I emailed them asking for a return authorization two days after the products had been delivered. They emailed back 6 days later asking for photos of the products I wanted to return. I sent the photos immediately and never received a response. I followed up with the same email and photos a week later and still did not get a response. Filed a dispute with my credit card. Update: after not hearing back from briogeo for two weeks I received a full refund and was not required to ship back the products. So I have updated my experience to three stars.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered anywhere. It's a shame because the products are fantastic. The customer service has a strange passive agressive tone to it with very toxic energy. They do not honor their 30 day return policy. There is no number to call. They do not respond to emails other than to oddly request a photo of your products as others have stated.

Never received my package and they refused to respond to me. I paid over $70. They stole from me.

I usually purchase my product through Sephora, but went through their website for my last purchase. They didn't send the complete order even though at the invoice says they did. I have contacted them multiple times and only received one reply and no remedy for getting the product that I paid for that I still have not received. They have one more week or I'm going through my bank to get a refund. It shameful that a well known company like this would put such little validity on customer service. You have no business without us.

I had an issue with their website where my first order didn't seem to go through (the website threw a 404 and put me back at the shopping basket). After a few minutes I tried again and got the order sorted, to only then get two order confirmations. I emailed right away to ask for one to be cancelled, only to be told that it was "impossible to do". So I had to wait 10 days for both boxes to arrive, to then now be waiting 3 days for a return slip that they STILL haven't given me. All of this while £88 out of pocket because a simple cancel order isn't on their system. Utter joke of customer service, if you want their products order from someone else with reliable customer service. How on earth can you not cancel an order within an hour of it being placed? I probably will never buy their products again after this shambles.

Why I will never purchase from Briogeo ever again: 11/24/20 - Placed an order for 2 shampoos and 2 conditioner. Paid $69.12, as these were on sale. Despite the high price, had tried a sample and really enjoyed and thought I would treat myself 12/1 Received a box with half of the order and wrote to customer service to ask if the rest of the product was coming separately (did not think it was, as the box was huge) 12/2 Customer Service asked me to send them a picture of what I received (why, not sure - thought maybe it was a stall tactic) so I send an email with picture of box, packing slip and items. 12/4 Briogeo offers me a full refund or store credit for the full amount of the product and I reply asking if they could instead send me the missing product. 12/7 After no reply, I request a full refund 12/9 I receive an e-mail with a partial refund alert, indicating it would take 7-10 business days to receive the credit on my account 12/19 After checking my card statement and not seeing a refund, I contact customer service again 12/22 Received email from Briogeo stating that they can confirm they have refunded my card 12/25 - Check with my bank and no refund. Email Briogeo CS again asking for confirmation that it went to the right place 12/31 - After no reply, writing this review. I am not an unreasonable person - I KNOW its the holidays and people are off from work etc. But if you own a supposedly luxury retail business, the holidays are a busy, lucrative time. Its the time when you need to impress your customers the most because its when they are spending the most money. Seriously Briogeo - get a clue on how to run a business!

While I admit the products are good, in all likelihood they are certainly overpriced. But products aside, this company literally has the worst customer service. When you spend $300 on hair care products (some were gifts btw) you expect to be treated well by the company. Luxury hair care products should come with luxury customer service - but the customer service at Briogeo is terrible. I placed a large pre-holiday order and when it arrived 2 items were missing, and 3 items were damaged and had leaked out all over the box damaging the other items. Mind you, these are gifts so you can't exactly wipe them off and call it a day. One of the missing items did arrive in a separate package 2 days later but nowhere in the shipping email did it say that items would be arriving in 2 separate packages. I contacted them for exchanges (which they said they cannot do due to Covid). Apparently, customer service agents are working remotely and therefore cannot process an exchange. I find this rather strange. Customer service also told me sending multiple emails only results in delays because you lose your spot in the email que when you send any follow-up correspondence. They take 3-4 days on average to respond to any query, with no way to track your concerns. Anyhow, good products never trump bad customer service.
